KC or 49ers....????

The disrespect in the media is just criminal
All week long its been Mahomes this, Any Reid that, Tyreek Hill this, etc, etc
Ninjas must've forgot what happened in the 2008 Superbowl...
High-flying Undefeated Tom Brady + Randy Moss + Wes Welker + Donte Stallworth
Ran up against the Giants with Michael Strahan + Osi Umenyiora + Justin Tuck
And Brandon Jacobs + Ahmad Bradshaw

Ya'll already know who I'm rolling with
Its always "Red & Gold.....Til I'm Dead & Cold"
We about to smash these fools in a few hours
49ers = 34 Chiefs = 24

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object

eerily familiar bro ... n even tho i`m a giants fan y`all might have an even better offense than us tht yr ...

i`m still pickin KC but y`all def got a shot...a good shot at tht ...

only thing i dont like ...y`all run was too easy ...we had to scratch n claw for every win so tht had us prepared ...

jus dont fall too far behind...:smh:

God Bless the right nipple...God Bless the left nipple...

I kind of want to see Andy Reid and Shady get a ring but...

I hate that the NFL is allowing racist ass CACs in Indian headdresses at the Super Bowl. And Fuck Missouri...

I always liked SF as a kid due to Montana, Rice and Craig...but fuck Shanahan for ruining RG3, and drafting MAGA defending Bosa.

This morning I woke up, put all that aside and was hoping to see Mahomes get a ring...

Then I find out today that he defended Trayvon's killing.

Man, I can't think of a previous Super Bowl where I found so many reasons to not root for either team.

Fuck both teams.....

I just hope it's a good game.

Yeah our playoff road was pretty easy
But in the regular season we were tested
Went up against the Packers, Saints high powered offense, Ravens, Rams twice, Seahawks twice
Division games are always hard

Most of the team was banged up & tired after that gauntlet
That Falcons game we lost afterwards was a "trap game"
Them dudes were dog tired

What a lot of people don't realize was that our bye was all the way back at week #4
So they were playing something like 13 straight games in a row with no rest
The playoffs actually allowed us to rest & get healthy (playoff bye week + 2 weeks before the Superbowl)

It’s not going to be a blowout. 49ers coordinator, who’s good, has had two weeks to prepare. They will be ready. But you can’t double Kelce, and Hill, and still spy Maholmes. So we’ll see.

Pat`s scrambling ability is vastly underrated ...

Since the Chiefs don't run the ball much/well
The 49ers can stay in their nickel defense (4-2-5)

4 -- D-line players up front rushing the passer
2 -- Linebackers who are fast enough to go sideline to sideline
Good enough to support the run + the RB in the flat + if Mahomes scrambles
5 --- Defensive backs (3 corners & 2 safeties)
Both of our safeties have range to double T.Hill or Mecole
And both of our LB's are cover guys, instead of ol school run stopping LB's

Correct me if I'm wrong @slam
But its somewhat similar to the 2007/2008 Giants that beat the Patriots in the Superbowl?
Trust me, we got this playa

Yeah fam, thats what we've been doing all season long
Dee Ford -- Arik Armstead -- DeForest Buckner -- Nick Bosa
We get more pressure with just our front 4, than most teams get blitzing with 5-6
Plus on the back end all of our guys can cover

But to keep it real our corners run roughly a 4.5 40 time
So they won't be able to hang 1-on-1 with the speed of both Tyreek Hill & Mecole Hardman
Both Hill & Hardman run 4.3 times
So it should be interesting when the Chiefs go 4 wide
Hill --- Hardman --- Watkins -- Kelce

I’m predicting 49ers

Chiefs been playing from behind their last few games, they can’t do that against the 49ers.

Yeah...not really a profound statement on my part but considering the style of play of both teams, whoever gets up early will most likely win. It's all going to be about game-flow. 49er are fucked if they get behind early. They're barely thrown for 200 yards all playoffs and even then, they depend on play action. On the other end, nothing more dangerous than being in must-pass situations against the 49ers defensive line.

Kansas City's oline isn't exactly swiss cheese and Mahomes isn't a statue...after seeing them come back down 24 points in a single quarter KC can come back period

Their offensive line is good. you still don't want to be in pass-only situations with the best pass-rush in the NFL. 49ers aren't the Titans. That's not even the most points KC has scored in a quarter. But pass-only, you're going to take sacks and throw INTs against the 49ers... and they're going to run and cut down the possessions. KC is ranked 25 against the run. It's always an advantage to get up early, but it's even more important in this game. You need to be able to run the ball + get it out quickly against their pass-rush and you can kind of neutralize their defense...but it's hard to do that playing from behind

Chiefs can't score 24 points in a quarter, if they don't have the ball for 4 possesions, in a quarter
People seem to overlook that important point
Shannahan & the 49ers will control the clock & limit possesions
Unlike the idiotic Texans coaching staff that constantly kept going 3 & out
If the Chiefs fuck around & get down 20+ points against us, its curtains

Yes indeed.

Im really expecting the 49ers defense to win this game for them in limiting the chiefs possession time.

Just hope it’s an exciting game.

QB play could be the difference but i'm not comfortable with the Chiefs' defense. And their running game is suspect. If they still had Hunt, it would be a different story. The better defense usually wins...and not like the 49ers offense is garbage

Real talk though... I'm still waiting to see what Brown Turd has to say

It probably will come down to QB’s

Jim is a solid QB I think a lot of people are underestimating him since he hasn’t thrown a whole lot. They have a very capable offense. 49ers have been depending on their ground game on offense but Jim can definitely get the ball up field if he needs too. If the Chiefs can’t stop the run then why throw lol just keep using the bread and butter that’s been getting them 1st downs. Control of the clock with the run game and stopping Mahomes will be their key to victory. If Chiefs put too many out to stop the run Jim will light them up.

This should be a good game.

Side note:
Another narrative the media keeps pushing, is that the Chiefs run defense stopped Derrick Henry
Did they really? Or did the Titans stop themselves
Titans only ran the ball like 4 times in the 3rd + 4th quarter, because they were behind & playing catchup

Plus the Chiefs said they were able to key on when the Titans were going to run or pass
So they subbed their run stopping DT (Mike Pennel) in the game
Then took him out & put in their penetrating DT (Chris Jones), on obvious passing situations

But you can't do that shit with Shannahan, LOL
His offense' are purposely designed to pass or run, out of the same formation & same personnel packages
With Pennel in the game, we'll just run around the edges with outside zone plays
49ers RB's have a lot more speed than Derrick Henry
Or do play action & throw over the linebackers heads
With Chris Jones in the game, we'll just run trap plays, or throw screens, use his aggression against him
With all the motion & shifts we do, most teams don't know what the hell is coming

There's only 3 ways I see the Chiefs winning this game:
1) If Jimmy Garoppolo throws a bunch of picks, or fumbles multiple times, especially in the 1st half
2) If Mahomes plays out of his mind (passing & scrambling), like a combo of Aaron Rogers in his prime + Russell Wilson
3) If a few 49ers key players get injured & knocked out of the game

I respect the playcalling. If you can't stop the run, they're going to run you into the ground. It's not that they can't pass, but if you can't stop the run, why let the team off the hook?

The chiefs offense stopped Henry. Once they put up that 24 straight, the titans couldn't run the ball anymore and also keep pace.

They really went full Faux News mode on the pre-game telecast. Cheeto was spewing alll kinds of fuckry. I can'trecall a POTUS doing anything other then a very general and football related interview up until now.

:smh:

Yeah, exactly
Another quick note:
The Chiefs have a pretty solid interior run defense.....emphasis on the word interior
But they're not good containing runs around the edges
Unfortunately for the Chiefs, the 9ers are one of the best at doing outside zone runs
Expect a few toss runs around the tackles

I had a lot of fun last year

Man I hope so

There were times early in the second half where the Titans would do those wide tossing swing passes and the Chiefs would punish them for negative yards. That was one of the reasons we kept getting 3rd and longs :smh:
