Kamala Harris is not the right Presidential choice for Black America

thats fantasy - where did you get that from? - last night in this thread I posted complete reporting from multiple sources on her court filings arguing against death row appeals, covering dirty prosecutors, suppression of exculpatory evidence etc

I read up on that case as well. Apparently a defendant was sent to prison on a drug charge. The prosecutors office discovered that a technician who had access to the drugs used in the case tampered with it in some way. The article didn't say if the tech person was using or selling the drugs. Nor did they use the word "tamper" but "sabotage". In a situation like this the prosecutors office is supposed to tell the defendant's attorney of the incident but they didn't because they knew that the case would get turned by the judge. The defense files a motion to have the evidence deemed inadmissible and then have the case thrown out. The prosecutor didn't want to see a guilty person go free on a technicality so they didn't say anything. Eventually the defense found out and the defendant was set free. It just so happens that the tech person was dipping in the evidence of a few more cases as well. The tech person was relieved of their duties. I believe 60 people were ultimately release on the same technicality. The AG of Cali at that time wrote a scathing op ed about the whole thing and the actions of Ms. Harris. Make no mistake...what she did was unethical, but was justice served? She did the wrong thing for the right reason imo and if someone tries to call her on that, I suspect she will be prepared. Didn't save the article but if I find it again I'll post the link.

They were talking about this on Karen Hunter's show

So they played some of her answers on the Jake Tapper interview and she said she was against the death penalty and why.

They a caller called in and said he was retired police in Oakland and an officer was shot and killed and they tried to lobby her to seek the death penalty and she refused .

The caller said he understands her position but this case was personal and he holds it against her.

As soon as he hung up another dude called talking about he doesn't trust her because she is a pro-death penalty...

So it seems mofokrs are repeating shit they heard not what they know and certainly not what she says...

Thanks for up, i had already seen that video, but while it has good info, its also a propaganda piece that gives only side of the story. For example, he tells us that Kamala tried everything she could to send us to the chair, but in reality when you look closer as a prosecutor she never ever went for it, and has always openly opposed it. She openly says that the death penalty has been applied unfairly to blacks, latinos and poor peeps.

Anyway, again thanks again for the drop. Im trying to stay away from propaganda vids and just looking for complete info.
First off I'm not running my mouth, I'm just stating my opinion on how I see the situation so far. I've post no propaganda videos in favor or against her like many niggas in this thread have done already. I'm in the process of doing research and what I found out so far is not as bad as some are claiming it to be.
You cats really just called that propaganda
Off yourselves for the good of the people

How did she fight against deathrow appeals for the entire state?
there were 704 people on death row in Ca
all with ongoing appeals...
A judge ruled death penalty was unconstitutional -
Harris appealed the ruling by saying taking them off death row undermines the condemned's constitutional rights and won - those 704 were facing death again

California AG Kamala Harris to appeal ruling against death penalty
Harris will ask the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn last month's ruling by U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney, who said decades-long delays and uncertainty about whether inmates will be executed violated the Constitution's ban on cruel or unusual punishment.

Harris personally opposes the death penalty but promised voters she would enforce it.

AG Kamala Harris Issues Statement on Appeal of Court Ruling on California’s Death Penalty
The court found that California’s death penalty is unconstitutional on the grounds that it takes too long for courts to consider and rule on defendants’ challenges to their convictions and sentences.

"I am appealing the court's decision because it is not supported by the law, and it undermines important protections that our courts provide to defendants. This flawed ruling requires appellate review."

I thought you were talking about that.

Thats not fighting against deathrow appeals.

She is the one who appealed the lower court's ruling of the deathrow penalty being inconstitutional.

Her explanation, take it if you will, is that as the AG of California she had to represent the law and the will of the people. Californians voted to uphold the death penalty in their state, so she had to defend it. The appeal was not about her personal preference, but that she had to fulfill her duties as AG.

Im of the opinion that she should have taken the risk of letting that slide and see where it went next. Very possible that she put politics first there.

Not sure if it was a good idea for her to declare she was running so early. She's been getting alot of shots right now from the left and right since there is no one else to focus on in the news. I think she is a good pick for someone to have a VP or Attorney General but not as a president at this time.

This might be her ultimate goal for now.

Shit is strategic.

I dont think she has a shot but this might be her come up.

Kamala Harris: Attack on Jussie Smollett was ‘modern day lynching’

Democratic presidential contender Kamala Harris ripped the brutal attack on “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett in Chicago, where cops said the assault was possibly a hate crime.

“@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery,” the California senator wrote on Twitter.

“This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.”

Chicago cops on Tuesday collected footage from city and private video cameras looking for leads in what they called a “possible racially-charged assault and battery” on the African-American Smollett, The Chicago Tribune reported.

Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon on the Fox show, said two people approached him at about 2 a.m. Tuesday as he was walking to get something to eat and got his attention by yelling racial and homophobic slurs.

Smollett was hit and an unknown chemical substance was poured on him, cops told the paper, and a rope was wrapped around his neck before the attackers fled.

Smollett took himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was said to be in “good condition.”

“Given the severity of the allegations, we are taking this investigation very seriously and treating it as a possible hate crime. Detectives are currently working to gather video, identify potential witnesses and establish an investigative timeline,” CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement to the paper.

“Empire” is recorded in Chicago for most of the year.

Smollett plays a gay musician on the show and is an activist for LBGTQ rights and HIV education.

Lol do you realize how nutty you sound right now?
I posted a video that simply stated her transgressions against Black males.
In response, you still need more evidence. Only a coward or a non Black would still think about supporting her given the evidence provided
The only one sounding nutty (and cowardly) is you
You offing yourself would rid our people of one less idiot. Nothing crazy about that suggestion tbh

Gives her a chance to get in front of them and answer.

The real question is will these 144 character or fewer mofokrs even listen or just run with what they heard .

Mofokrs talking about she vowed to uphold the law as a DA like that's a bad thing when we have a president right now who basically is saying fuck the law fuck the constitution and fuck you too

 Neva that! And for who and for what? Some nigga on a porn board who talk mad shit when they don't agree with someone. One thing I learned on this board years ago is nothing is as extreme as some niggas make it out to be.

Two candidates that come off publicly on opposite ends. Warren has ideas but her voice will get drowned out in the crowd. Publicly she comes off as being too soft and would get walked over in a debate vs the Republican incumbent. Booker, on the other hand, comes off like an angry black man. And everybody hates an angry black man (joke). But seriously he comes off as being too hard and his passion is often mistaken as anger. Still, I think he would scare too many voters to get elected.

Booker? An angry black man?
