Ironically, it looks like they are already running into the same problems. Unless Mona was mocking Mel.

Im not a fan of using someone to get a joke off and not really speaking to the issue, but that's Joe's thing. The reference to Mel dating Marc was disrespectful. Not saying it's better if she was there, but the joke could come off as more light hearted.her not being there comes off as bitch shit especially if she no longer with the pod.

To me, Mel being or acting like a feminist made her a bad fit for the pod. Alot of her opinions came off bias. As a woman, we expect to hear the woman's perspective, but there is a difference in that vs never calling out bullshit. That said, there were more than a few times she wasn't allowed to complete her thoughts like most of the cast. I mainly didn't like everything being because im a woman. ignoring the fact the overall the cast got the same treatment with the exception of Parks and for the most part Ice.


If she's gone, I wonder if it coming out that she fuck Marc and allegedly E made her feel uncomfortable. Mel's whole thing is wanting to move away from the video girl image to the point of looking down on some and their alleged behavior.personally, I wouldn't view her any differently, but others would say that's typical behavior and the cast definitely would have used it as a joke.it also didn't help she flirted with Ish initially.you can't look down on birds and fly with them at night.you can't talk about Superhead just because you zig instead of zag. I respect women who are open about who they are and don't judge. Except running trains. That's disgusting and no I've never taken part.to me, Mel had nothing to be ashamed of assuming that is part of the reason for leaving.


Side note. Flip may not know how to work around women. Maybe not in the worse way. Ive seen men who's natural instinct is to help women. The problem is these men usually aren't as helpful with men, so it's taken negatively by women. In their mind, you are either flirting with them or you don't believe the are capable of doing the task.

I think this came from what I consider the Joe Budden verse. According to one of the channels, Marc's wife name is also Melissa. When Filp is telling the gym story and says Big Mel, he's actually referring to Marc's wife; not Mel (JBP).

Flip also mentioned Marc's son was there and Mel avoided looking at/interacting with the kid too. Big Mel (Marc's wife) was there with a friend i guess. So, Mel (JBP) stayed close to Flip and Ish. Apparently, Flip and Ish were confused because they don't really fuck with each other like that. At least not at the time based on Flip's telling of the story on the pod.

The reason i believe this version is because of Marc's reaction to Flip telling the story. Initially, Marc seemed interested in what Flip was trying to say. However, Marc caught on to where Flip was going, got up, face slightly changed from laughing/smiling and walked off the set as Flip tells the story. Its not impossible, but I don't see him doing that if Flip was talking about the actor dudes wife.

If im wrong someone can correct. I thought Target did what alot of companies including my own did. Which was basically renaming the program. I can't speak for Target internally but my company hasn't really changed anything meaningful.

My other issue was why was Target being called out when alot of the companies did the same. Honestly, the DEI programs really didn't change much to begin with and we all know it was mostly fake behavior. At least at my company. The only stand out change was more women in the C suite or other leadership roles.

The other part is alot of the people i know shopped at Walmart vs Target due to the belief that Walmart was less expensive. Not saying the DEI thing didn't have any impact, but maybe falling sales were more so related to cheaper options. Target was empty compared to Walmart before the DEI issue. I clearly don't know enough about the actual sells of either though. Just judging on it visually in the stores.

I agree to a point, but Joe entertains it by coming into the spaces. Its easy enough to say Mel has something personal going on that isn't my business to discuss on air or with the cast. That said, up until this week, you'd think Mel was Voldemort at the pod.

So far, Mona has performed way better than Mel. She talks a little much but she really does come off like she hangs around men and is comfortable. While still giving a woman's viewpoint. She's basically female Flip energy wise. Unlike Mel who may have only spent time around men due to her looks and getting more pretty privilege from so called male friends.

Assuming Mona works out and Marc already has, does anyone get cut? Personally, I'd take Marc, Mona, E and maybe push Flip to Patreon only. Parks is already there and fills the void for Ice as far as music topics.
