Bottom line is someone else saw the worth of Rory and Mal, and hence they have a deal.
They indicated that they met with a lot of people including Spotify before taking this deal.
It seems Joe gets in the way of himself wanting too much. Maybe I'm seeing this wrong.
I mean, all you do is sit down, shoot the shit for a hour or two on current events/entertainment/new music, content that's all stale after a week or two, why not get paid for doing this???
Truly, what's the worth of the catalog in the long run for an "entertainment/shoot the shit" podcast?

I definitely agree with this 100%. I never watched their shows, but lately have been finding myself watching them more and more. Solid team in my opinon.
