The part about how many people has Joe or the JBN put on, I 100% agree with.
One of Joe's biggest issues with Bare Minimum was that they didn't want to do any pods outside of the main. He suggested that they have their own pod, possibly on Patreon and they (probably moreso Mal) wasn't with it......
I'd like to see maybe an Ish, Mel and Marc pod.....
That was the thing. The pod was missing a second A mic. Now with Marc they have it.
I think the whole "Ian and Marc" show is getting motion online and that sets up Marc to possibly run another pod in Joe's absence. Since Joe has stated his ultimate goal is to not have to be on mic/camera anymore......
The problem is, Marc is already severely leveraging himself with "Night School," and the whole falling asleep on the main pod is a bad look......
But NS is generating decent income for Marc so I get it. There has to be a way to balance/ incorporate more of Marc without "stepping on the product.".....
We shall see what the future holds......

They've had other pods on the network though. They just aren't successful. Improper Improve had potential. However, Joe should have never been on it. I also feel like Joe wasn't feeling the streamering aspect because you can't control what gets out. Someone like King of all Blacks has funny moments but he also does too much at times.
I think a show with Flip and Marc would somehow work. Sort of like the Abe &Pearch vibe. Maybe include E as a third. Instead of multiple topics like the JBP, focus on one or two. Flip regardless of how people down play him would be the person alot of people can relate to. Marc is clearly knowledgeable or is capable of diving deep on topics. It doesn't need to be long. 15 to 30 minutes.

Hulk Hogan had a long list of shit to be attacked for. It wasn't just one thing. Hulk Hogan is a fuckin character he's been playing for 40 years. That part you liked about him wasn't even real.
It's like Al Pacino being a racist, woman beater, republican....but excusing all of that because you liked him as Michael Corleone. But the Godfather was dope. Nobody would take that serious, but people will try to act like not giving a fuck about someone who didn't give a fuck about me will allow them into heaven.
Just making a point, Michael Corleone is a role like Hulk Hogan was. No different than the racist white man on Flip's chest. With wrestling somehow people treat the shit like it was real.
Two things..
Marc need to get off the caffeine. Between this clip and the last clip, dude seems wired all the time. Going to pray for this brotha that his health is good.
Second, I think ice really is a coon. If Marvel was pandering, they would have made Blue Marvel already or Kevin Feige wouldn't have came out here and called BNW a "failure". Thor Love and Thunder and Multiverse of Madness have nothing to do with "pandering". Ice is getting into Flip territory
I find it interesting that a lot of black people (who had no personal connections to him) are sad over the death of a racist performer because they liked the fictional character he played on a television show when they were kids.
I think he's talking about The Marvels, Eternals, BP2, Sheng Chi, Ironheart....
but it's not because of Black Panther, it's because they overextended things with the commitment to streaming. From two movies a year to three and four. Now throw in cartoons and shows on streaming.
That after that Hulk Hogan conversation was pretty crazy though.
