I don't want to believe that but I'm starting to think the party establishment was taken over by a bunch of grifters. The last 4 years were just a horrible con gone wrong.
The man is collecting money hand over fist; the large print on top says the
purpose is to contest fraudulent elections, but the fine print says that if a
person donates less than $5000, 60% goes into an account Trump can use
for personal needs, and the other 40% goes to the RNC, and nothing what-
so ever goes to fund the lawsuits. Only when a person donates more than
$5000, (and some people are saying that the amount is actually $8000) does
the money above the $5000 (or $8000?) donated go to that lawsuit fund.

What you have to realise is that Trump has little liquid cash. We know this
because his previous stinginess belied the profile of a billionaire with any
money to spend. In 2016, following his failure to make NBC pay him $5 mil
for appearing in a debate, Trump announced he was organising his own
personal event, at which he would be raising money for veterans. $6 mil
was pledged; 2 years later not a single penny had made it out Trumps own
pocket, so some one sued. The issue was later settled when Trump agreed
to pay $2million of the amount that hand been donated.

In another case, his family charity was dissolved in New York, and he as well
as his children banned from charity work in that state, all because he used
charitable activity to swindle $2 million...

The only way you would ever doubt that all this was about money was if you
believed that Trump, as a person who purports to be a billionaire, casually
spends amounts of commensurate with being a billionaire. However, this is
not true.

Joe Biden can undo all this shit at the stroke of a pen. All these measures
were planned ahead of time, in the belief that Trump would be reelected,
and they would form part of his agenda. Now he is just vindictively flailing
in the dark, and as easily as he signed executive orders mandating this
nonsense, the next president can sign his own either undoing, or even
superseding them. This is why executive orders are never used or relied
on to enact permanent laws.

Trump Says Biden Can Only Enter White House as President if He Can Prove 'Ridiculous' 80,000,000 Votes

Bro, I wish I could keep laughing at this shyt as it would be normal to focus on calling out the exteme level of craziness mixed with stupidity, but 70million+ muthafkers co sign this level of ignorance of a statement and person at his level including, supposed smart muthafkers like lawyers and former federal prosecutors. If you are simply a Mayor at 18 years old and lost you know better than to say some beyond ignorant shyt like this, but the level ignorance he has cost in lives, family members, friends that we're close to this is really the tragedy part of this muthafker as prez. Affecting pockets and being straight racist is one thing, but being dumb as a door knob causing many unnecessary deaths is a whole different ball game when you got a muthafker this dumb handing out grenades, so to speak, to 70 million+ people who are just as dumb, defiant, cocky racist as this muthafker in office has been one extreme level of just craziness, but add in the pandemic and it's like all these muthafkers got grenades living and walking next to you makes this shyt truly like the twilight zone daily.

Milwaukee recount increases Joe Biden's victory margin by 132 votes as Dane County awaits results
A recount requested and funded by the Trump campaign in Wisconsin has increased President-elect Joe Biden's victory margin in the county of Milwaukee. Trump and Biden gained 125 and 257 votes to their tallies respectively in Milwaukee. Trump's campaign paid $3 million to Wisconsin to fund the recount, which is also taking place in Dane County, where results are expected on Sunday.

Why the fuck does it cost $3M to recount the fucking votes in two counties?

Why not add seats to the House of Representatives to make the Electoral College more representative? That should not require amending the Constitution, which is basically impossible now.

Because you’re talking about the Democrats here, and the Democrats will never offer a common-sense solution to a problem which is compliant with the Constitution when ineffectually pounding on the podium or offering unworkable solutions will do.

The House hasn’t changed from its current membership of 435 seats since 1911, when the population of the country was just 92 million. I realize that it would be difficult for the Capitol to handle a larger House, but that is no reason not to do it. The House was never intended to provide for just one Representative for every roughly 800,000 people. All of these people whining about “democracy” in a country that isn’t one have failed to uphold “democracy” in a way that they easily could, by improving the representation of the people.

And a side effect of doing so would be that the weighting given to smaller states in the EC would much less significant. It would still be there, but not to the extent it currently is.

But don’t ever count on the Democrats to propose such a solution. After all, it is SO much easier to get 38 states to consent to abolishing the EC, right?

He actually can't though if Trump goes through with it and fires + replaces people before he's out of office. It would take years for these people to even get back through the pipeline. We're talking about thousands of employees at one agency alone. Biden would spend his entire 1st time just refilling institutions with civil servants.

for instance

Either way, necessary people have to be rehired if they are arbitrarily and capriciously fired. The
only question is whether Biden rehires them under Trump's rules or under more reasonable rules,
like the ones Trump changed.

Gotta have the votes to do that. The Democrats don't have the votes.
Yep. What does it take, 75 votes or is it 60 in the US Senate? It is time to
balance the ridiculous advantages the GOP has in states such as Montana,
which due to the Democratic basis of congressional seats, and the state
basis of Senate seats means that it is harder to be a senator in such a state
than it is to be Congressmam: the state has 2 senators and one member of
the US House of Congress

He wouldn't be breaking any laws. There is nothing anyone could do it about but go back through the proper process to rehire in those agencies.

The Senate and the House would need to approve the statehood admission by a two-thirds majority vote.

Statehood admission doesn't require a two-thirds majority.

Yeah. They wouldn't need 67 Senators. They'd need the POTUS' signature (which they would have). They'd need the House vote..( which they would have). They would need 60 votes in the Senate...which they won't have unless the Dems win GA and then kill the filibuster.

I'm assuming it's to pay the poll workers in addition to associated "fees." :dunno:

Some of the biggest cost estimates came from Dane County, the state’s second largest, which estimated it to be $740,000, Waukesha County, which estimated $653,400, and Brown County, home to Green Bay, which estimated the cost at $456,925. Milwaukee County, the largest county, had the highest estimate: $2.04 million.

Smaller, more rural counties are less expensive.
