Earlier this summer, Jill Scott received an honorary doctorate from Temple University, and it was presented to her by Temple alum Bill Cosby. Now, in the aftermath of the Cosby sex allegations, Scott is standing by her fellow Owl.

On Monday Scott got into a heated debate with her Twitter followers when one of her followers asked if she supported Cosby.

Scott is free to support whomever she wants to, but it doesn’t leave her exempt from people questioning her allegiance.

the media is driven by profits, it's the system we allowed, it's the system that gov. loves because it's easy to control the sheeple through media programming. Bill must have pissed off some jew and now he's paying the price.

I will buy her next album.

Fan for life.

And sadly the only famous black person to come out and support the man thus far (that i know of).

These allegations and the settlement of the lawsuit have been sitting out there for years. It looks like retaliatory move to stop something.

1. Michael Brown mother going to the UN regarding torture and talking about police practices. I noticed alot of strange behavior during that week of propaganda misdirecting a listener, a guilty reaction. I believe there is an active, planned genocidal program through a number of measures, that are covertly being used.

2. Blocked his show from coming on NBC without Al Sharpton and Benjamin Crump showing up. Have a non discriminatory reason.

He tarnished his own legacy by apparently being a serial rapist.

Jill just better be happy he didn't rape her...or did he?

The media tends to do that when niggas roofie white bitches.

He tarnished his own legacy by apparently being a serial rapist.

The Innocent Program was created based on the lies of white men and women.

I heard this same type of shit with the Central 5… Look up the name Charles Stuart, CAC who killed his pregnant wife in Boston and blame a black man for the crime.

But hey… NO ONE ON TV HAS EVER LIED… :roll eyes:

FUCKING SHEEP… :smh:

Cosby is old and spitting that shit white people love to hear. Why the hell would they go all out on him NOW? Not during the Cosby show or anywhere near the height of his relevance.

Nope fam, sorry, I do not believe this is a complete conspiracy. The nigga was frisky back in the day and probably crossed the line a few times. 15 times, probably not. Sure, some of them bitches just hopped on the bandwagon. But if even one instance is true, he's a certified dirtbag bag in my book. But hey, I'm just a son, father, brother, and lover who'd kill behind some bullshit like this for the women in my life. You dudes can hold on the your hero's credibility as long as your gullibility will allow. It's fine.

Accused. We keep asking the question over and over again.

Since when has it been impossible to convict a black men in America of rape?

*More than one of the women said they were having a relationship with Bill on the side. That leads me to believe that:

1.Bills a freak
2.Women knew he was a freak and kept fucking with him anyway.
3.He didn't leave his wife (like he promised) so they are mad.
4.Their careers didn't blow up like they wanted, so they are mad.

You said it, he crossed the line but rape? Not so much...you got bitches mad "cause he kissed them"...one chick mad cause he stop giving her money for shit....crossed the line? Yea....rape? Not so fast....

The sheep would be the ones not engaging in critical thinking and accepting the narrative spoonfed to them by the same media thats been complicit in fucking them over since its inception.

Sheep.

Heres a better question, all these "victims" and not ONE accused him of rape when it took place? And almost ALL admitted to having an ongoing consensual sexual relationship after the alleged rapes initially took place?

If Bill comes out and apologizes, is she even going to be able to back track with them big ass titties.

BUT RAPE!!!!

SHOW AND PROVE!!!!

America celebrates the "Mad Men" era that's depicted on the AMC series of the same name.

(white) Men objectifying women openly, (white) men doing pretty much as they pleased at work (drinking on the job/leaving early to handle non-work issues/choosing secretaries or assistants based on looks for possible office nooky), (white) men wanting pussy and getting it from women other than their wives.

Bill was living the "Mad Men" lifestyle for REAL - you know how American societal shit trickles down to the Black community a few years later? Well Bill was living "American Style" in the 1970s rather than the 1950s & 1960s (the period of the TV show). Women being brought to him or presenting themselves to him - for what? The casting couch is REAL and the implied exchange for these dinners/visits was the norm. The 1970s & 1980s America was drugging up. If these young women were offered pills by Bill, why would they take them so readily? If their inclination was to do drugs then there's the reason why. If they didn't usually take pills or didn't question what they were allegedly being given, how mature and ready for Hollywood were they? Young & dumb with no parental guidance. Did they call home to say to Mommy & Daddy that they had a meet & greet coming up with Mr. Cosby in his hotel room after his shows, or dinner with him? Or did they sneak around hoping the meeting would lead to what they selfishly thought was their BIG BREAK via the Cosby shortcut?

(white) women today, especially 40 years older, look back on their lives and like anyone else, want to clear their conscious of the past dirty deeds and it's easy to blame someone else rather than be honest with themselves. Cry "RAPE!" and it's on the accused to disprove the charge in today's rush-to-judge society.

Bill was the Black Don Draper (except he kept his wife/worked thru his shit). Give him another Emmy award for Life imitating Art!

its not so much a conspiracy to bring him down as it is technology changed significantly in the last ten years. The last court case/settlement cosby dealt with was in 2005, there was no twitter or youtube and facebook was in its infancy. No one used myspace for news info. Today all those sites exist and stories can take on a life of their own outside of traditional media. Before in order for a story to blow up it required a number of major news outlets picking up on it and running it. Now news is driven by social media. Something going viral on youtube or twitter or facebook can draw more attention than old news outlets.

Before it was much easier for spin doctors and lawyers to get out in front of a issue and call in favors and have stories killed..today thats next to impossible now because spin doctors can't kill a story on twitter.

Once cosby's allegations went viral it was just a matter of time. :dunno:

Bill met Sandy in the casino at the Las Vegas Hilton around 1979 or 1980. She was in her late teens or early 20s, thin and medium height with hazel eyes and straight brown hair that fell just below her shoulders. They immediately began a consensual intimate relationship. At the time, Sandy was sexually adventuresome, dating a number of men around town.

Sandy never grew her hair. She was not motivated by money. But she did come to me one morning a year later to tell me that something bad had happened. Bill had drugged her. She was not angry. She was baffled, stunned, even shaken by the experience. Plus, she felt betrayed.

“Bill drugged me last night, and then had sex with me,” Sandy confided. “I just don’t understand it. It’s not like I would have said no to anything.”

He had given her two pills and said, “These will relax you.” She trusted him and swallowed them. She figured they were vitamins or herbal medicine. They did not relax her; they flat-out knocked her unconscious.

“He didn’t need to do it,” she repeated. “I just don’t understand why.”

Did it turn him on to see a woman “out cold” or was this all a mistake? Maybe Sandy’s body had reacted to the pills in a bizarre and unexpected way. I was willing to give Bill the benefit of the doubt, although Sandy felt his actions were intentional.

She did not view the encounter as rape, because she was already in an intimate relationship with him. I likewise did not categorize it as a sex crime, because it was Sandy’s experience, and she had a right to define it any way she wished. I was only the bystander, the friend, the shoulder to cry on. Of course, now that I am older, I look back and realize that when a woman is unconscious, she cannot ever consent.

Sandy had no idea what happened to her that night. She knew it involved sex; she could tell by the way her body felt afterward. It never occurred to either of us that Bill might be drugging other women. We both assumed the encounter was a “one-off.” After all, Bill was charming, intelligent, attractive and famous. He did not need to sedate women in order to secure dates. He could not possibly have a dark side.

Despite the tone and talk of testifying against him according to this article Cosby didn't commit a crime.

she doesn't say he committed a crime at the time not does sandy. If all the women who claimed to have been drugged and raped were women he was ALREADY fucking then maybe thats why they were reluctant to say anything at that time. :dunno:

Why should she? she said "I side with substantiated proof", This means I need more proof before I crucify this man that in her eyes have a great legacy. This is the way it should be, not because people saying he did.

Once President Obama got in it seems some took it as Blacks were being uplifted out of their place. Since then every achieving Black man( except Charlie Barkley, Corny West and Tavis Smiley)has been under attack. The every Black male child it seems is never again to be given the luxury of of presidential dreams

darren sharper treatment?

sent from Max's G-Note III

I'd believe Sharper was guilty before Cosby.

There were a few allegations in the media, then one after the next with similar stories.

Sharper's shit didn't even hit the media until about four or five women had accused him. Not to mention, they were from women from different states, and even regions of the country. None have come out with claims since then. So, its hard to for their to be collusion, when the accusations weren't even known on a national level.

I think yo' boy Sharper got his Dave Megget on.

Cosby is a lot more iffy.

Very, very intersting take...

I'm supposed to believe that a Black man drugged and raped (mostly) white women for 45+ years. Multiple times in some cases. And was never charged with anything. In America.

Someone tell Kobe.

This is a country where any raggedy ass white bitch can point at any one of us and claim rape and we are getting investigated. But a Black man starts drugging and raping white bitches in the 60's and no one says shit?

wow...what if is just a kink for Bill? He likes his checks drugged up and he cant do that with his wife? he's just a super freak.

Still don't give him a pass but THAT makes much more sense. Because if he is doing this without consent...:smh:

But NOW it seems like he only did with women he was in some type of relationship with.

They don't see it bruh. The question is, now that they got rid of Bill Cosby, is Temple gonna fill that budget gap that Cosby used to cover with charitable contributions from TMZ? Is CNN/MSNBC/Mediatakeout gonna build the next building on Spelman's campus?

Will Twitter host a fundraiser for african-american kids going to Howard University?

Niggas just got played and they don't even see it.
