Just tragic all the way around he didn't mean to hurt anybody and is

I am beginning to really despise the American Justice system before I used
to just hate it but over the last couple years that feeling has been elevated
to despising
Charging this poor man with a bunch of serious water vehicle laws, yet Zimmerman
and Dunn slipped right passed them serious murder charges.:

As I read this story I was saying that same thing. Had he been white it would nothing more than a tragic accident.

How did he break the law? Where you there? Did you mean to actually do it? I'm a big believer in not imprisoning people excessively over mistakes like that. To me, he didn't mean to do it, but Zimmerman and Dunn meant to. Especially Dunn, in his case it was premeditated.

I really wish folks would stop comparing cases and laws from other states the laws and sentencing are not always the same.

Well, the point is that they should be. It gets really confusing if i can pump my own gas in NY, but can get arresting for doing the same thing in NJ. I guess all the pervs just move to Idaho to fuck 14 year old girls and it's okay..

it goes from what you purchase all the way to how old you could fuck...
The states process crimes differently as per the nature of the government and not allowing the federal government to dictate laws in said state... so it fully rests on the shoulders of the citizens of that state and who they elect as officials to govern over them, and who they elect or who the people vote for to place on the bench.
If you have not understood yet, that the judicial system is not here to protect you, but to prosecute you African Americans and add a record onto to you yet, then hopefully you will see this and be awakened.
Do not compare the cases which happened in Florida to what happened in Ga... that is not a comparison or even the actions are not the same...
but understand this...
if a black kills a black, then they will prosecute the black guy
if a white kills a white, then they will prosecute the white guy
if a black kills a white, depending on the defense used, his peers in the jury may have a chance of skating.. a slim one

Unless you are a one government type, where the states itself give up their right to rule as individual states, it will not happen... its the whole premise as being the United States of America, instead of being the American Republic... the states itself has the right to self governance and will not give up autonomy to being a central government.
and yes, people move around, but in the case of being a sex offender, you must announce yourself to the local government as being such... I believe that their is a federal register of sex offenders as well.

How do you know he didn't mean it and how do you know his behavior wasn't negligent or reckless ?
That white boy with affluenza didn't mean to do it either...so then its good he got off ? for killing four people ? because he didn't mean it ?

I think we need to wait to see what his sentencing is before getting up in arms about the conviction. Looks like he was trying to splash people from his jet ski when he ran into the two kids. Being that a jet ski is a motor vehicle, think of it as a car on the road. If some dude was trying to do car tricks on the street and he fucked up and ran up on the curb and mowed over a kid, completely by accident, would that be worthy of a conviction? It's really the same thing.
The family has said that they know he's not a bad guy, and the prosecutor said the same thing, but that he's totally responsible for what happened (his lawyer tried to blame the father for not steering of of his way). If he gets 15 years or some shit, I think that would be harsh, given the circumstances, and I don't even know what the sentencing guidelines are in fact.... so he may get much less or no time, etc... we'll see.
