Straight Outta Compton" star Jason Mitchell -- who played Eazy-E -- is under investigation for allegedly attacking a woman in a fancy Boston hotel.

Law enforcement sources tell us they got called to The Ritz early Monday when an 18-year-old woman claimed Mitchell got rough. According to the report, obtained by TMZ, she told police the actor grabbed her arms, threw her to the ground by her hair, called her a bitch and then fled.

We are told the argument started after the woman tried to crash a party Mitchell was having at the hotel...and when she was turned away she got extremely upset. Several witnesses on scene say that the woman actually struck Mitchell first, with an open hand.

The report says other guests could hear the victim screaming for help in the hallway, and The Ritz has since banned Mitchell.

The alleged victim tells us Monday was the first time she'd met Mitchell, who was definitely in town that night. Another fan, not the woman, posted a video of him at a Boston bar.

Cops spoke to Mitchell on scene..he was not arrested. We reached out to his rep ... so far, no word back.

So he basically defended himself but still got fired for it? Smh

I don’t think it’s because of this

Yeah, that looks like the 2016 incident referenced in the original post. It wasn't this.

I don't know what it was you don't just get dropped like that by your reps. It's one thing to get fired and lose a couple of gigs, it's another for agency and management to bail on you.

A source with knowledge of the Showtime series says Tiffany Boone, who played the 'Straight Outta Compton' star's girlfriend, was among several actresses on the drama who had issues with the actor.

In the wake of multiple allegations of misconduct, Straight Outta Compton star Jason Mitchell has been terminated by his agent and manager, dropped from Showtime’s The Chi and from an upcoming Netflix film, Desperados.

Showtime, Netflix and Fox 21, which produces The Chi, declined to comment.

A source with knowledge of the Showtime series says Tiffany Boone, who played Mitchell’s girlfriend on The Chi, was among several actresses on the series who had issues with Mitchell. She made repeated complaints of sexual harassment and allegedly felt so unsafe with her co-star that at times her fiance, Dear White People actor Marque Richardson, came to set when she shot scenes with him. Boone declined to comment.

The source also says Boone ultimately informed producers at Fox 21 that she could no longer work with Mitchell. Initially, he was retained while she was released at her request to pursue other projects. Other actresses on the series also were said to have had problems with Mitchell. It’s unclear what finally led the studio to act.

Mitchell had not yet started filming Desperados, a comedy set in Mexico, when he was replaced in recent weeks by Lamorne Morris (New Girl). A source close to the project, which Lionsgate’s Good Universe is producing for Netflix, says the producers received “specific information which was investigated immediately and thoroughly and dealt with as quickly as possible.”

Netflix referred queries to Good Universe, which declined to comment. Sources said all three of Mitchell’s co-stars on the film — Nasim Pedrad, Anna Camp and Robbie Amell — had complaints about Mitchell.

Mitchell, 32, was considered a rising star, having won accolades for his performance as rapper Eazy-E in 2015’s Straight Outta Compton. He also appeared in Mudbound and Detroit, and is a series regular on the Lena Waithe-created The Chi. Waithe did not respond to a request for comment.

UTA, which dropped Mitchell several weeks ago, declined to comment. A source with knowledge of the situation says the agency “made a very quick decision” to drop the actor based on multiple allegations of misconduct.

Please tell me it was more than this.
A chick hits you who tried to crash your party and you throw her to the ground and every production you're in fires you?

Wait, she white?! Has to be!
I'm never fighting again. If someone hits me I'm gonna flop to the ground like vlade divac or LeBron James. It does me no good to fight back and defend myself. I don't care if the person is a small is Diane from blackish oh, I'm hitting the ground

I don't know if this is what caused it, but him losing everything because a female can't control their temper? I firmly believe if you don't want to get hit, don't hit. And before today, anyone who hit me will get the full Mike Tyson treatment, not anymore

This probably isn't the reason he lost all his gigs. I saw a post of some sexual harassment shit. Damn. I guess he's not going to be in straight outta Compton 2

Sexual misconduct.
The chick who was his girl on the show had her fiance come on set whenever she had to film with Mitchell for protection.

They let her out of her contract for Season 3. They didn't do anything to Mitchell at the time which was months ago. Wasn't til this new production with Netflix, the company let him go immediately after the many allegations.

EXCLUSIVE: Rising star actor Jason Mitchell (The Chi, Straight Outta Compton) is facing a career crisis over allegations of inappropriate behavior. The specifics are sketchy, but I hear the accusations were so serious they have led to Mitchell being dropped by his agency, UTA; management company, Authentic Talent & Literary Management; a Netflix movie he had been cast in as a lead, Desperados; and the successful Showtime drama he stars in, The Chi.

I hear the dismissal from dramedy Desperados, a Good Universe production for Netflix, came first. I hear the decision was made after the producers had received information about an alleged off-set incident. The incident was investigated immediately and thoroughly, leading to Mitchell’s termination from Desperados, in which he was to star opposite Nasim Pedrad, Anna Camp and Robbie Amell.

'The Chi' Renewed For Season 3 By Showtime

A rep for Good Universe confirmed Mitchell has left the movie, declining further comment.

Mitchell was also quickly fired by UTA and Authentic. (Reps for both companies confirmed to Deadline that Mitchell is no longer a client but would not comment further.)

the-chi-season-3.jpg
I hear word of the incident involving the actor then reached producers of Showtime drama The Chi, recently picked up for a third season, on which Mitchell plays a lead. In light of the seriousness of the allegations, I hear the studio, Fox 21 TV Studios, opted not to pick up Mitchell’s option for next season.

Reps for Fox 21 and Showtime confirmed to Deadline that Mitchell would not continue on The Chi beyond its current second season, declining further comment. I hear the actor had previously been under scrutiny over an alleged inappropriate behavior situation on the show involving a female co-star, which had been resolved.

Mitchell, an in-demand actor following his breakout role in Straight Outta Compton, was investigated for assault in 2016 when a woman publicly accused him of slamming her to the ground in a Boston hotel.

On the Lena Waithe-created The Chi, Mitchell plays Brandon, a popular young man striving to better himself and open his own restaurant. Season 2 spotlights Brandon’s ambitious plan for his food truck business. For his role on the show, Mitchell is nominated for MTV Movie & TV Awards in the Best Performance In a Show category.

In addition to his role as Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton, which earned him the African American Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor, Mitchell also starred in Kong: Skull Island and appeared in Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit,Mudbound and The Mustang.

Attempts by Deadline to reach Mitchell for comment through representatives were unsuccessful.

Amid reported allegations of inappropriate behavior, Jason Mitchell has been dropped by the Showtime series The Chi, the upcoming Netflix movie Desperados, and his agency and management team.

The 32-year-old actor, who broke out playing the late rapper Eazy-E in 2015’s Straight Outta Compton, was the de facto lead as Brandon on The Chi, Lena Waithe’s drama about life on the South Side of Chicago. Showtime confirmed to EW on Monday that Mitchell will not be returning for the recently announced third season, but declined to comment further.

Netflix also confirmed that Mitchell will no longer appear in the romantic comedy Desperados, and both United Talent Agency and Authentic Talent & Literary Management confirmed that they no longer represent Mitchell. The three companies declined to comment further.

According to Deadline, which first reported the news, Mitchell’s career setbacks stem from “allegations of inappropriate behavior” and an “alleged off-set incident.” Mitchell has not publicly addressed the situation.

After earning praise for his performance in Compton, Mitchell went on to big-screen roles in Keanu, Mudbound, and Kong: Skull Island, while also appearing on The Chi and the most memorable episode of Amazon’s Forever. Just last week, his work on The Chi earned him an MTV Movie & TV Award nominationfor Best Performance in a Show.

Mitchell will presumably continue to appear in the already completed second season of The Chi, which airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.

Sounds like this nigga has no professionalism or he did at one point and lost it since.

Show up let your performance speak for itself.

Shouldn't be that difficult for a celebrity of his stature to attract women on set he is attracted to.

This is what happens when you let lame niggas get fame they don't know how to manage the responsibility and end up reverting to their old habits just worse because of the fame.

I don't know how they are going to remove Brandon from the show. He's right in the middle of everything and everybody. The writers have a he'll of a job in front of them.

It sure appears like dude has a problem. With different women on different shows making accusations and not only is getting fired from shows, but his agents dropping him too? I think he is a good actor and I hope he can get himself together cause we won't be able see him in anything if he doesn't.

As a fan of The Chi, I'm concerned about where they go from here as well. If dude was fucking with Tiffany, then fuck him (Bmore stand up), but his character was the glue that kept that ensemble together. Not to mention, the character being a relatable, neighborhood dude just trying to make it. I don't know if any of you have tried watching Lena's other show "Boomerang" but it's jam packed with new wave feminist fuck shit. All of the male characters are written to be bitchmade, Episode 3 she literally has the co-star of the show get fucked in the ass with a strap. Shit's unwatchable.

So hopefully the writers on The Chi can maintain the integrity of the story without his character going forward.
