HNIC would be wise to continue with "voluntary donations" and NOT ask for "paid memberships".
"paid memberships" would mean that HNIC is generating revenue based in part on the availability of infringing content and that would open up a potential 4th action against him.
contact an attorney and ask her/him about "unfair business practices" and "fraud"
BGOL doesn't need to drastically change. it only needs to make sure m.f.s continually use the correct m.o.
It's just a donation to cover the costs of running the board....once that's reached the only profit potential is the advertisement....
Not like a paid porn site but like a member driven message board....if the board cost $800 per month to run 80 new members or and renual memberships at a $10.00 min. keeps it runing...

Only 1/10th are paying donors 1950
Leaving 17,550 non-donors....
Because of having to donate for full access....might loose a reasonably loose 7000-8000 members due to frustration or non-ability to pay

Out of that only 1/3 are willing to pay the min $10 not all at once but at some time to keep the board running.
Isn't that $30,000???? I mean I'm doing the math on my fingers but that is enuf to keep the board running for at least 3 years....
and don't hosting companies or providers of storage and bandwidth offer discounts for multiple years...
just some general idea on how all this could be squashed right now.
