is larry harris the worst GM in the NBA?

fair choice, but elaborate as to why.

the ben wallace signing speaks volumes.

let shannon brown walk.

drafted tyrus garbage thomas over roy aldridge

could not get the kobe trade down.

could not get the melo trade down.

jerry krause is up there also.

david stern helped us with derrick rose tho.

AND PAXSON WAS STILL ON THE FENCE WITH BEASLEY

bump for more evidence that BGOL can't see clearly when discussing NBA basketball.

:lol:

Why not take a chance on a player that could be the next Dirk. A versatile 7 footer who's capable of playing the 3. Hell, the players taken after him haven't made a peep all season. Have you even seen Yi Jianlian play? I doubt it. He has skills...and he wasn't timid early on like Yao.Lets see where he is in 3 years before we start condemning the dude

:lol:

thundercat and milwaukee's then-GM know basketball talent when they see it! you asked to wait 3 years, well it's been 4.

You definitely haven't seen him play. He has nice range on his shot.

I dont care about the Bucks or Yi, but I've watched them play, unlike you. I know talent when I see it and I'm just speaking on it. Know what you're talking about before you speak without making dumbass comments when it's obvious you're just looking at boxscores and not watching actual games.

:lol:

thundercat, please come back and talk about the talent you saw.

:cool:

Wow...times have changed since this was first posted.

The correct answer is now....Danny Fucking Ainge.

Who else would break up a championship squad,middle of the season....and get nothing,absolutely fucking nothing in return.

As I look at the Celtics today...they have nothing,for giving Perkins away.

Not to mention...getting rid of all the bench with 3/4 of the season gone:smh:Danny Ainge is the most stupid GM in the history of the NBA:angry::angry::angry:

The WORST GM are as followed...

#3... Scott Layden... :smh::smh::smh:
IN what was one of the DUMBEST trades in Draft day history...
This bitch ass COCKSUCKA traded Marcus Camby and the #7th pick(Nene) to Denver for Antonio McDyess(who was FRESH OFF OF KNEE SURGERY)... When ask if he saw AMAR'E STOUDEMIRE(who was TEARING UP THE WORKOUTS AT THE TIME), this BITCHASS COCKSUCKA SAYS,' WHO??? I NEVER HEARD OF HIM... I DON'T REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO GUYS WHO COME STRAIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL... I've BEEN BUSY SCOUTING TALENT OUT IN EUROPE.'... :hmm:

#2 Ed Tapscott... :smh::smh::smh:
Though his tenure was short-lived... This ASSHOLE is famous for deciding NOT to draft Ron Artest... BUT instead... He drafts... FREDRIC WEISS... A guy whom HE NEVER SEEN BEFORE... HE NEVER SAW THE MAN PLAY... Not only did Weis NEVER PLAY IN THE NBA... HE was TOO PUSSY TO COME TO THE NBA... I'm sure everyone remembers Frad Weiss... He's the guy that VINCE CARTER JUMPED OVER IN THE OLYMPICS... :smh::smh::smh:

#1 Pat Williams... :smh::smh::smh:
IN what was... BY FAR... The ABSOLUTE... HANDS DOWN... DUMBEST TRADE IN NBA HISTORY... :smh::smh::smh:
This asshole... DICKHEAD... who had THE #1 pick the 1986 NBA DRAFT... Traded Moses Malone and Terry Cattledge for JEFF'BRITTLE FOOT' Ruland and Cliff Robinson... THEN traded THE #1 pick in the draft(Brad Daugherty) for ROY HINSON... :smh::smh::smh: Moses Malone went on to become an ALL STAR with Washington while Brittle Foot BARELY PLAYED AND RETIRED THE FOLLOWING SEASON... Brad Daugherty went on to become ROOKIE OF THE YEAR and a 5x ALL STAR... While ROY HINSON... well... He could DUNK BUT... that's about it... :dunno: Cliff Robinson was OK... BUT... He wasn't MOSES... :smh::smh::smh:
Now... To be fair to Pat... He has made some BRILLIANT trades in his life... BUT... the '86 trades will go on as the DUMBEST TRADES IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA... :smh::smh::smh:

Just talking about active GM's then its Khan guys.... Its always been Khan. Forget his history of retarded moves. Lets look at what he wanted to do this year. Khan wanted to trade Beasly who is lets sat a 15ppg player and honestly decent trade bait to the Lakers for Derrick Fisher and a future first. So that motherfucker was trying to get another PG who is old and wasn't going to play for that shitty team and a future first for a team that even when they're bad are going to the playoffs.

The deal was so lopsided that the teams owner got involved (probably due to Adelman telling him Khan was an idiot)

This^^^^^^

This franchise has never really recovered from this shit right here! We've had some good teams, but we've never been a true 'contender'... How the fuck do you trade Moses Malone, who just led you to the Chip!!! For any reason!?!?! Wasn't like he was hurt or anything, and Ruland even when healthy wasn't even close!!! And that Roy Hinson deal :confused: :hithead:

i think moses malone is the best high school player to become professional, but i don't have a problem with him being moved in that 1986 trade. moses malone's O had already begun to decline at that time. what was terrible about that trade was that in addition to 2 players, the 76ers also gave up 2 1st round picks, mortgaging their future.

i'm also not sure that cliff robinson ever played a game as a 76er in good physical condition.

roy hinson was a good, solid, hard working player, but trading away the draft pick for him was by far a much bigger blunder.

had the 76ers kept their draft picks in 1986, they could've drafted brad daugherty and mark price. or brad daugherty and dennis rodman. or brad daugherty and nate mcmillan. or brad daugherty and jeff hornacek. or brad daugherty and kevin duckworth. or brad daugherty and arvydas sabonis.

The thing is... a declining Moses Malone was STILL AN ALL-STAR... Cliff Robinson was pretty decent for the Sixers and Roy Hinson was... DECENT... BUT JEFF FUCKIN RULAND... :hmm: The Sixers had a chance to RE-TOOL LIKE A MUTHAFUCKA in that draft... Moses and Doc were on their way out... Barkley just got there... Cheeks was getting older... That's why they should have kept the #1 pick and got Daugherty... :smh:
