My aunt’s a nurse here the DMV and according to her, most of the cases they’re seeing in the ER and ICU are those who are not vaccinated. The vaccinated are heavily in the minority and are able to bounce back relatively quickly.

Way I see it, newborns are pumped full of vaccines and grow up fine. No real scientific reason a functioning adult shouldn’t have one either but to each their own.

Just know the risks and chances you take if you choose to opt out. Many of those in ICU and on their death beds have huge regrets when it’s all too late.

I can understand this completely because this was me in the beginning. I was mad hesitant to get that first dose. Even with family in the healthcare field, I just didn’t wanna be the first line to get it.

But the statue of limitations finally ran out.

Nobody turned into zombies, nobody died directly because of this vaccine, and I could no longer justify not getting it, after watching people around me who didn’t have it succumb to their issues.

It was no longer a knee jerk reaction for me once I put everything together and substantial time had passed.

We now have all the data required to potentially increase the chances in saving a life, which is something we didn’t have early on, so I understand the hesitation, but again, that was back then.

It’s no longer knee jerk to me.

If you choose to not get it, that’s fine, but it’s not fair that you get to clog up the hospital beds for a choice (or lack thereof) you made.

Leave those beds, ventilators and resources for those who listened to the science and paid close attention to the numbers.

The placebo is just not getting the medicine....like those who don't get vaccinated aren't getting the medicine.

And from the time the sample size got big enough, research was begun and data was kept. On those who got vaccinated (i.e. got the active ingredient) AND those who did not get vaccinated (i.e. did not get the active ingredient)

Trust me bruh, ya'll are being studied too....and data is kept on what rate ya'll are dying at compared to vaccinated, the severity of sickness of non-vaccinated compared to vaccinated and every manner of difference.

My first 2 Pfizer shots was not a problem. My booster a couple weeks ago made me sleepy/tired and a slight headache for about 12 hours the next day. I haven't had a headache in probably more than 10 years.

Same with me and Moderna. No reaction to the first 2 shots. The booster made me really tired. I was having chills, loss of appetite and a general slight sick feeling for a day. After that, it was all good.
