If you have $10,000 and want to be your own boss, Amazon has a deal for you.

i got 10k and can get 5 drivers to work.....

Shit me too. I need an additional revenue stream, and my parents would be down with this too. My pops knows a bunch of former criminal cats that can't get a legit gig because of their record, but they respect him so they won't fuck up that opportunity.

yeah likewise. my wife was reading and said do it.... i can get drivers and hire someone with logistics experience to run tings

This is different. This is a legit opportunity. Normally in business you have to sale or secure contracts. In this business model you are a package delivery company who automatically gets a contract with one of the largest distributors in the world.

Not only would you have an amazon contract but would also be allowed to secure other contracts outside of Amazon.

Amazon works off block which are 3 hour, 4 hour and 5 hour blocks. Vans always do the 5 hour block simply because they can hold more packages. A 5 hour block pays about $120

The math is simple. One van running two blocks a day (10 hours) will produce $87,000 in gross revenue. That is just with one Van

No doubt I think it's legit.. .

But its a little more intricate than just putting

A van on the road and reaping profits .

You gotta keep and file a lot of paper work..

If you are in a market like nyc you gotta compete with so many company's looking

For good drivers so you gonna wanna have

Some decent benefits and pay...

I agree with you tho I think it's a great opportunity for those with the cash to spend

But they better have more than that initial ten geez...

The first few years...ay have to take out a smb loan..

But it's very doable

isnt it up to ...? and u can determine how large u want to b or become...

and if u have shit else going n have the bread...why not..?

worse case u def make ur money back whats 10g`s in the grand scheme of things...

dunno worth checking out to me...:dunno:

you're going to break off a lot more then just 10 g's that's just to get in. figure a location to keep your vehicles, insurance, payroll, accounting, especially since you're required to offer benefits. (forgot about that one) i said 60k realistically about 120k, which is still not bad if everything adds up right.

This part right here got me suspicious. Amazon wants you as the owner to take the responsibility of paying drivers, insuring them and dealing with all the other issues as an employer while they steer clear. There's money in this but there's definitely a lot of overhead you'll deal with it. I want to get more details.

See and this is my problem with the whole thing. Hopefully people will educate themselves and not just jump into this head first without doing the research. Some folks just not built to handle all of that responsibility.

This isn't a good opportunity how its presented. The numbers say a projected profit of 300k if you have 40 vans and 100 employees.

Capitalism it's one big fuckin pyramid scheme..

It's just some schemes have much better

Benefits than others... like some 9-5s

Other schemes are just no damn good

For no damn body who are at the base of the pyramid great for those at the pinnacle tho

And was herbal life before avon??

Avon was! My bad

IDT that Amazon is running a pyramid scheme, but whenever someone offers you a ready made business you have to ask yourself "why aren't they doing this themselves?" When it comes to "opportunities" that involve driving the answer is usually that it covers their ass. Same reason Uber drivers don't work for Uber.

It's also suspicious that Amazon isn't offering these opportunities to existing courier companies. Every city has plenty of small outfits who already have competent staff with proven records. But Amazon would rather recruit owners with no entrepreneurial experience hiring employees that they don't even know.

Yep & you better have way more than $10 grand of cash to jump into this. Ain't shit for free, the devil will be in the details.

This. Just putting in 10 grand and thinking you'll be caking up right away will put you in a world of hurt.

it's less then i thought. based on your credit score u can do 40 trucks and base everything on a 10/hr pay rate maybe one person to run things at salary for about 30k 100k will not only do the job but float you for a while.

you can do it at 50k and get through 6 mos but the safe number is 100k. my only drawback is leaving for 3 weeks to seattle.

its all good with the avon thingy I get your point...

I think even though this benefits amazon, amazon wants to be able to throw shit back at trump by saying..

not only do we keep the post office in business, which is very true, the post office was shitting bricks not to long ago when email became a thing...

now they got more packages then they can handle as a result of amazon...

but they want to be able to say not only are we helping to motivate citizens into becoming business owners we are helping to bring in more business tax dollars

to the irs... to keep them off their back..

its really trump and bezel or whomever the owner of amazon is, playing a game of chess..

which is most likely why they are not going after established business....

since their goal is to bring in new money for the irs...

I think its a pretty good idea I also think if you are interested and wait to long, that ten thousand dollar start up will be double, triple or quadriple that if you wait tooo long...

If he wants to help small business, Jeff needs to stop the death threats towards me and interfering with me starting a business. Quit stealing intellectual property than harassing people in perpetuity. This is another reason for me wanting to leave.

It is time to stop the racist capitalism.

Politicians, especially presidents, rarely if ever encourage or promote small businesses. IMO it's partially because small business owners usually pay far less taxes than workers, especially when they first start. Also, workers are easier to manipulate for votes

Yea but more business owners mean more taxpayers to sucker out their money

But this case is particular in that. Drumpf

Had the balls to call this dude bezel the head of amazon out.

So this shit is personal but I think folks will benefit from it which is a good thing

Trump fucked up. USPS is done if this takes off
I think their saving grace is that Amazon just doesn't have enough drivers to fulfill all of their orders...so USPS, UPS, Fed Ex will continue to make money....but it depends on how fast this grows. Because I think if all shit goes well.....Amazon gonna do this and keep building it until it eventually knocks USPS off their ass. Shit was all good until Trump opened his big ass mouth.

Anything who thinks this is a get rich quick scheme, think again. I know for sure Amazon has some bullshit clauses in there that will prevent you from making any substantial profit. Thats just how they are lol.

So i'm just leasing the vans.........what's the price on them?

That's the question I want to know as well about the lease terms because I have no doubt that Amazon will shake you for every penny if they're providing you vans.

Also somebody said they'll pay their drivers $10 an hour, that's not gonna cut it in 2018. People are not going to get up bright and early every morning & do deliveries for a measly $10 an hr for 40+ hrs a week. This isn't 1998, the cost of living has shot up. You won't get reliable drivers for that pay.
