If you have $10,000 and want to be your own boss, Amazon has a deal for you.

You can make money off Uber the trick is outright owning your car instead of leasing it

I hate amazon logistics with a fucking passion, fuckers never pay attention to the fact that they are delivering to a business and as such have business hours, fuckers came after hours to make a delivery, could not get in, came the next day after hours again, left my package in front of the building.
This was a $1000 lens

they're lucky I did not claim to have not received it. (karma)

I'm a skeptical type person by nature.
I gotta do some research. I'm always interested in discovering what they're NOT telling you as well as any valid opportunities that may exist in cases like this.

Something elese to consider.

Drivers will be full-time workers instead of contractors, and Amazon will require business owners to give them paid time off and other benefits.

Drivers will be independent like Uber drivers. Amazon will setup everything for your company. So yes, the drivers will be making minimum wage maybe a little more. It will work out for everyone. Amazon Jeff, is a businessman and he wants to be independent of the USPS just to show the American People just how stupid their president is. He has lot's of money, so showing up trump is what he's living for now. And he will also have spys and other people watching trump, just like trump is watching him. America is a whole new ball game for the super rich. And Jeff is the RICHEST of them all!!!!

Maybe I'm not understanding what you are saying. That quote states whoever hires those drivers
will be required to hire them as full time employees with at least vacation /sick time and benefits. Uber drivers don't get any of that I am aware of, due to being contractors. True, they won't be under Amazon, but someone will be paying those benefits and days off. In other words, some of that 300 grand is going to pay for that.

That quote is straight from the article and not my interpretation, by the way.

Got a coworker that orders a lot of shit and sends it to the job and complains about the same thing

No way in hell would I fuck with Amazon as a contractor. Read the stories about how they treat their employees and Bezos "ruthless pragmatism" outlook.

Now, if I had years of parcel delivery experience and knew the business inside and out, then maybe.

This part right here got me suspicious. Amazon wants you as the owner to take the responsibility of paying drivers, insuring them and dealing with all the other issues as an employer while they steer clear. There's money in this but there's definitely a lot of overhead you'll deal with it. I want to get more details.

Lol Amazon is gonna make a shit load of money off selling people this shit. Between the operating costs and the stress Amazon will put on you to make sure you are keeping up with deliveries, it won't be worth it.

The people who think they're making money with Uber will be perfect for this tho

The whole point of outsourcing your driving is to limit your liability.

Package gets lost or damaged? You pay for it

Your driver gets in an accident? You pay for it.

DUI? you pay for it.

What happens when a truck with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise gets ripped off?

See above

I miss the days when it was only Amway and Herbalife running the whole "be your own boss" scam

Capitalism it's one big fuckin pyramid scheme..

It's just some schemes have much better

Benefits than others... like some 9-5s

Other schemes are just no damn good

For no damn body who are at the base of the pyramid great for those at the pinnacle tho

And was herbal life before avon??

Help me out OG
That breaks down to $7500 per vechicle
Or $37,500 a year with the intial setup of 5 vans. Maybe it's a bit more...

Do they think we're stupid?
I drive for Amazon flex in my spare time and for a 4 hour block they pay me $74

For Vans, the last I checked was paid $120 for a 5 hour block . If you had a van you would be running 5 hour block min.

So the break down would be this. One van running two blocks a day would produce $87,360 in gross revenue. In your situation you mentioned 5 vans.

If you were running five vans you would produce a gross revenue of $436,800

As a business owner this is the route you want to take. Vacation and paid time off opens your pool to better and more dependable workers

This is different. This is a legit opportunity. Normally in business you have to sale or secure contracts. In this business model you are a package delivery company who automatically gets a contract with one of the largest distributors in the world.

Not only would you have an amazon contract but would also be allowed to secure other contracts outside of Amazon.

Amazon works off block which are 3 hour, 4 hour and 5 hour blocks. Vans always do the 5 hour block simply because they can hold more packages. A 5 hour block pays about $120

The math is simple. One van running two blocks a day (10 hours) will produce $87,000 in gross revenue. That is just with one Van
