If Sharpton or Jackson got assassinated..would there be riots?

The irony being that I consider Jackson (and Sharpton to a much lesser extent) to be leaders the white community picked FOR us. Why are they our leaders, because they lead in media savviness? We see the mainstream media refer to them as "leaders of the black community" thousands of times a year and they just magically become our leaders?
Real talk, anyone compromised enough to be on stage with a whole bunch of Democratic candidates for president...is he really OUR (grassroots black community) leader? I respect Al's work as I've said several times, but again...he has some real ill skeletons that bear scrutiny.
And besides black people don't need leaders, they need to learn how to lead themselves.
NAME ONE GROUP, ORGANIZATION, ENTITY, BUSINESS OR BODY THAT IS SUCCESSFUL THAT DOES NOT HAVE A HEAD OF SOME KIND.

There will always be different factions within the group.
On one level I can appreciate the discourse within the group but I realize lots of people will disagree no matter what you say or do on behalf of the group. Right now protesting,marching and working within the system, I believe, is the correct path if only to show the futility of it or maybe it will work without shedding blood.
I believe the system will only go so far to appease the protesters. Whether what they do is enough to quiet them/us is another story. Then the question would be what if the now peaceful protesters aren't satisfied and take it to another level.
Would those that disagreed before now join??....WHY???..If you thought they should have been doing this all along why aren't you doing it now??
Would those that disagreed before work against them???
For me the bottom line is choose what you believe is the correct path to take. Organize with like minded people and then do your thing.....seriously people if you think marching on Washington with AK's and RPG's are the answer then what the fuck are you waiting for??
Just remember whatever path you take everyone in the group will not follow and many will actively work against you, including setting you up for a fall either because you are a threat to their ambitions or they actively support your opponent.
Keep both your friends and enemies at arms length cause when you "fightin' da man" which is which depends on what day of the week it is.

Al and Jesse are no threat to this govenment. MLK (VIETNAM/civil rights) and Malcom (Congo/Vitnam/civil rights) had loud voices and had followers. NO ONE takes Al and Jesse seriously today. They do not address any controvercial issues - they respond to things they don't incite/ignite.

I haven't heard either of them say they are the leaders of all black people or the spokesmen for us. They are the leaders of their respective groups, The National Action Network and the Rainbow Coalition. Other than that the field is open for others to rise up and take a leadership position. Whether they get the media's attention is another question.
