Race? The woman is half of the African race, Yoruba to be exact,It's obvious by now that this is a troll thread designed to rile us up. You have succeeded! Race has nothing to do with anything. Good music is good music, no matter where it comes from. Stop with the race card bullshit! You can't shit on a platinum selling artist who's been in the business 30 years! Her legacy is already set in stone.
this one melody nonsense
And there you go again with the race thing! Who the fuck cares but you?!?! If she was all black/African, would it make a difference with you? Would her music be good then? C'mon man, stop with the bullshit! You're losing this argument!Race? The woman is half of the African race, Yoruba to be exact,
and half of the English race.. Are you trying convolve yourself
with her because she is half-white? I do not get it. How does this
affect you? If anything, this is an African v African thing
You are the one losing the argument. As I stated fromAnd there you go again with the race thing! Who the fuck cares but you?!?! If she was all black/African, would it make a difference with you? Would her music be good then? C'mon man, stop with the bullshit! You're losing this argument!
You brought up that she was half white. Not me. You've been talking about her half-breedness throughout this entire thread and now you're trying to flip it on me? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. What is your fucking point????You are the one losing the argument. As I stated from
the outset, you people confound yourselves with her
because the woman is half white. I have posted an
innumerable litany of African women, all from one
country by the way, who are better than this woman.
Finally you come along and validate that this thing is
about race. The only thing is the woman is half African/
half English, and so why are you worked up about her
race?
I have already made it: Sade is a substandard musician. The other part of..What is your fucking point????
The only point you've made is you don't like her because she is half white. And try to flip it on us that we like her 'JUST' because she is half white?! That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!! Sorry, but you are alone with this argument. You need to take this to your fellow Africans. Man, stop already! You're just trolling at this point. I'm done.I have already made it: Sade is a substandard musician. The other part of
it has been made by you: which is that "you" will support her nevertheless
because she is half-white
Listen to the exquisite strings...and the majestic tempo
which is superior to the simple solo rythm of Sade Adu..
Only Africans play polyrythms.. do not ask me why...
I am not flipping anything, and you are not setting the premiseThe only point you've made is you don't like her because she is half white. with music you will find that classical and jazz studio musicians have the greatest technique as do some trained background singers but what famous artist have is a style that sells , that is what sade adu has , style, many artist can sing better then others, but you sell when people are willing to pay for your piticular style. .
Great? That is the opinion of cacs. Orchestras are funded by our tax dollars. They woulde. Great musicians and singers end up with $100,000 a year jobs in orchestras, bands and singing background for stars ,all of them are better musicians then the stars themselves but they don’t have the style people are willing to pay to see or hear so they don’t get the big bucks .
what are you talking about?Jazz music... go to sleep
You're crazy bro. I'm happy you are passionate about your country's music. I would be too.I established this thread on the contention that
Sade is loved in Black America because is half white, rather than
because she is a great musician.
You're crazy bro. I'm happy you are passionate about your country's music. I would be too.

You erroneously stated that african's are the only ones who play a polyrhythm. You're going to tell me you don't realize that jazz music is polyrhythmic? It feels like you're just making stuff up.what are you talking about?
Sade is 50% African, 50% English. Black America has appropriated her because of the latter
compliment, and that is what this thread is about. There is nothing in the woman that is
American
I find it odd that anyone of this forum would say anything like this. People on this forum are
notorious for venting anger and open hostility anytime I post any good African musician.
I cannot there understand all this whining when I return the favour on a musician, albeit a half-
African/ non-American one...
There are 40 million black Americans, and there 1.2 billion Africans. We do not need the
purchasing power of black America to make our money. African bands typically are 20-30
people strong, and have been that way 40 or 50 years, with zero black American patronage;
The desire to cultivate a black American market is the least of the reasons why I post African
music. If you must know, I do so because we have a superior product.
It is the truth. I am sorry that I hurt your feelings. Not only can cacs not play music, and fuck
it up when they steal it from black people, but they have not created any music worth listening
to since they came into contact with the black man. If I am wrong, please show me any musicians
worth talking about from Russia, Germany, Denmark, Norway etc etc... Btw, I chose these countries
because they barely have any native black population... On the other hand Cuba, Colombia, etc
etc
Jazz is expressly NOT polyrythmic. It is basis of that American style where theYou erroneously stated that african's are the only ones who play a polyrhythm. You're going to tell me you don't realize that jazz music is polyrhythmic? It feels like you're just making stuff up.
I have yet to see a white girl that looks like Sade.
Shuuuuut that shit up!![]()
This is the only reason why love Sade, and have appropriated her from the Nigerians/English;Dumb 5 page thread. Just enjoy the music that you like without the politics & shut the fuck up. Put on John Coltrane's a "love supreme" & a 20 -35 year old will look at you like you are crazy. The can't appreciate the music. When you tell them that it is genius music, they start laughing. Back in the day I would go see all the Jazz giants (Coltrane, Miles, Mingus, Max Roach) in the clubs in Greenwich Village Manhattan and the audience was 90% white; they understood the genius music they were hearing. Nina Simone ( you can't get Blacker than Nina) most of her audience was white. You don't like Sade. You think she & her band are trash; you're opinion is your own. Manu Dibango had one of the biggest hit songs globally ever of any artist period, "Soul Makossa". I heard that song at Orthadox jewish parties & at white rocker grunge parties, everyone hit the dance floor. Unfortunately for him he never had a follow up hit. Whose fault is that?? African artists Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela broke through internationally, some of the African artists you favor could do so too. What is their marketing plan. When are they coming to New York to do some shows? The fact that they are not half white is not holding them back. Stop that bullshit.

Jazz is expressly NOT polyrythmic. It is basis of that American style where the
melody is driven by the bass guitar, and all other other instrument are riders
on that fundamental rythm;
To be polyrythmic, at least two instruments must define melodies, in one
song, that are independent of each other. However, in order to retain melodic
harmony, there is a secret to this that must be abided......................
(I purposely did not complete the last sentence because there is information
that I know you do not have, and cannot find on google. The reason is that the
cacs who put everything on google, do not understand polyrythms, and have
never played polyrythms... I would have to explain them to you; and I may not
explain them to you)

3:2 cross-rhythm[edit]
Polyrhythm is a staple of modern jazz. Although not as common, use of systemic cross-rhythm is also found in jazz. In 1959, Mongo Santamaria recorded "Afro Blue," the first jazz standard built upon a typical African 6:4 cross-rhythm (two cycles of 3:2).[16] The song begins with the bass repeatedly playing 6 cross-beats per each measure of 12
8 (6:4). The following example shows the original ostinato "Afro Blue" bass line. The slashed noteheads indicate the main beats, where you would normally tap your foot to "keep time."
This is the only reason why love Sade, and have appropriated her from the Nigerians/English;
she is half cac. But even among Nigerians, I can post a litany of female singers who are superior
to Sade...................
go back and look. He really did tell you. Like what you like.Yes but these are not polyrythms. There are many rythmic structuresc'mon bro. your childish behavior is a terrible look for you
