Good music is good music, period. It's arrogant and ignorant to downplay anything you don't agree with, you make yourself out to be no better than the wypipo who do it. Half white had nothing to do with anything in my first listens, had no clue nor did I care what she looked like, like most others who liked her music. You enjoy the music you like, don't waste people's time and energy with your bullshit.
Everyone knows Sade is not the best vocalist. If you think she is then you are CRAZY! And I'm a huge SADE fan. But even I know she can't SANG. But she has some great music with Sweetback. But if her white "Model" look wouldn't have gotten the media's attention. I don't know if I would know about her. That would have been a better argument. The singing an range part wasn't needed. It's a bunch of singers with no range, but they make up for it with other things.
