Im laughing at this thread because lebron is in his prime right now, and he has a long way before he catch jordan.
Lebron is an all-time great talent, but the talent is weak as fuck nowadays.
Why didnt we hear this last year or the year before that?
The talent is only weak because King makes them look weak.
And if its so weak, why isnt anyone else doing what LeBron is doing? There are no talented players in the NBA now?
Bron is a lil bit of Jordan, a lot of magic and mostly nothing we ever seen before...
its as simple as that
This argument is not a true test your theory. Todays NBA is way weaker than Jordan's era. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Today LeBron has:
Kobe
Rose
Dirk (lost to in finals)
Durrant
Wade (same team)
Melo
(And for respect sake) Keven Garnett
Below this tier you have your Paul pierce, Deron williams, Chris Paul's and and what - not but the league is weak. And those LeBron has to fare against are few and far between.
Jordan, getting TO HIS PRIME, faced:
Magic
Bird
Paris
Isaiah
Dumars
Ewing
Hakeem
David Robinson
Barkley
Clyde Drexler
Reggie Miller
Mitch Richmond
karl malone
Shawn kemp
Gary Payton
The lakers
The Pistons
The Knicks
THERE IS NO COMPARISON with regards to competition. Jordan played against other "legends" who went to college and had superb and refined games as pros. The league is weak. Joe Johnson is getting paid like Reggie Miller begged to get paid - and he is not 1/10 the marksman or warrior as reggie but makes more and is considered "elite" (at least by his pay check). GTFO.LeBrons road to "domination" is not paved with Goliaths like back in the day. He is a freak of nature with his size and ability, but he strike NO FEAR in the heart of his competitors. Some can (and do) argue that LeBron should have developed his post game years ago to be beyond devastating now. He is the top of his class/generation, but he ain't Jordan in any category.
