I will take LEBRON JAMES over in his PRIME over

12 pages and still going....wow.

Time to end this....

Question, how many big games or moments can anyone say Jordan disappeared in?

As great as Lebron is...some of you guys have forgotten his play-off record before last year.

Now that Bron has 1/2 a chip, his confidence is soaring. Hence, improved stats this year. He didn't fully believe in himself before. He showed trepidation when the lights shined brightest. Doubt he'll have that issue going forward.

People quickly forgot how bad Miami looked when Bosh got injured in the playoffs. As soon as he came back, they looked like a different team. Ironically, Bosh has played his best ball for the Heat deep in the playoffs.

Yep. Heat cats didn't listen last year when I said, "No Bosh No Title". Then they were slurping him off when he returned. They just cheer and don't really know the game.

In the finals that they lost, I thought Bosh was the best Heat player during that Finals. Wade clearly was playing hard but he had a couple of bad games too. Lebron was a non-factor. Bosh was the only player that was consistently putting up his numbers every single game and giving 100 percent. I know he plays "small" for a PF but I've always thought Bosh was the unsung hero on that team.

He was their best player in that Finals, that year's ECF and in the ECF last year. I'm trying to recall what happened in last year's Finals.

man be quiet you ole nantucket living negro...

The finals against Dallas Lebron didn't disappear per say but Dallas exploited a weakness Lebron had and the Heat had... Lebrons lack of a post up game and playing with his back to the basket and running zone defense on the Heat..

How bout you give Bron credit for correcting that flaw in the off season and now murdering niggas the last 2 seasons... even your Smeltics crew in game 6 of the ECF last season :lol:

Jalen Rose just said on Mike and Mike that although MJ is the best player he is NOT the most accomplished

Of course Rose broke it down why

He should have explained why Shaq is the greatest of all time. I thought this was a conversation of the greatest players of all time but we couldn't put Centers in the conversation.

Jordan wasnt talented enough to pull down 20 boards in a playoff game, Ive seen people say Bron "quit" after doing that. Jordan doesnt have any Finals triple doubles that I know of. Ive seen people say Bron quit after he did that. Jordan wouldnt be Jordan if he had LeBrons expectations and microscope. Can you imagine King getting swept TWICE by your Celtics? MJ did that and his fans go outta they way to downplay it. J was and is coddled.

I guess 3peating isn't expectation enough

There's never pressure to do that

I swear these cats gotta stay off that crack

Lower expectations? We agree on that. Jordan wouldn't be Jordan if he didn't and the world didn't expect him to play like the G.O.A.T. each game...even when he had the flu.

 Exactly! Taharqa just randomly hittin' keys on his keyboard at this point.

Jordan got swept by 1 of the greatest teams of all time while LBJ and his team got swept in the finals by the Spurs. You are reaching to far trying to find something negative to say about Jordan. Jordan is the best non Center of all time no matter what you convinced yourself.Try comparing LBJ to Kobe or maybe the Jordan that played with the Wizards but doing it with Jordan in his prime is making you look bad. I waiting to see you type Jordan couldn't play under pressure.

some of the things you have been mentioning, have little to do with who is the better player. There is a shit load of things that Jordan has done, that lebron has not done. He grabbed 20 boards in playoff game. ok. he got a triple double ok. Has Lebron 3peated? won a championship on someone elses floor?

didnt lebron lose in the finals while having home court? never happened to Jordan.

Dudes saying Bosh has a weak game are crazy. Yeah he was a 20 10 guy on a bad team but its not like he wasn't efficient.

Its much easier to get those numbers on bad teams, just look at above average players like Antawn Jamison, Ben Gordon, and even Kenyon Martin... Not saying Bosh is on their level but you get my point, these players put up numbers on bad and average teams but numbers dropped once playing on a disciplined, structured team..
Bosh is a decant player but in spit of the numbers he is a very weak power forward..

im wondering why this thread was even created.

there really is no comparison.

Well consider this, all that James has done so far in his career was before he truly understood the game.... Now a light has been switched on and he has fully grasped what needs to be done. Similar to when Jordan figured out how to beat Detroit... Now James post up game (once his weakness) is one of the best in the NBA, his three point shooting is statistically much better than Kobe's and his shooting % as of late has been breaking records....
Its like James has evolved to the next plateau and if so, years from now, we may be comparing this version of LeBron with Jordan, not the version that lost to the Spurs and Mavs...
If this is the case then certainly we would be able to compare the two players for the G.O.A.T.

Yeah like go 1-9 in his first 3 playoff series. When LeBron got beat by the C's in 2010, and dropped 27,19, & 10 in the Final game yall said he was a bitch and quit on his team. J cant win a single playoff game against Larry Bird (one of the legendary peers of his era), and yall on some "hey man, thats the greatest team ever, its OK if J lost". Like I said, he cant walk in these shoes. He didnt come out the gate expected to win like #6.

Can you please provide the playoff game where Lebron had 20 rebounds??

Please don't resort to lies.

I was incorrect. He had 19 in Game 6 of the second round of 2010. And he had an 18 rebound game last playoff. Has Jordan ever had a game he scored over 40 points, grabbed 15 boards, dished at least 5 assists while still shooting well over 70% in the playoffs? I know Wilt has done it, but MJ, no dice.

Look at his numbers on Miami. Per opportunity he's putting up the same numbers. Players that stat pad on bad teams aren't efficient. For example....Montae Ellis.

This is fallacious argumentation.

Do you know how many things I can list just in the NBA finals that no other play has done besides MJ? That's like me asking you if Lebron has every averaged 40 points in the NBA finals? or if Lebron has gone undefeated in the Finals? Or how many consecutive 30 or 40 points games has Lebron had in the finals?

Don't cherry-pick stats because you'll lose that argument...especially when it comes to the playoffs

Yes or no? Has Jordan ever done that? If we asked him to score 40 points while shooting no less than 70% in an elimination game do you think he could do it? If Doug Collins asked Jordan to check Rick Mahorn or Bill Laimbeer in the post, do you think he could do it? Did he ever? This is what Im talking about with the ducktales. Dudes dont want to admit J just couldnt do some of the things we are witnessing right now. He wasnt that kind of talent.

See how easy that was?

You need to slow down and take a breath. You aren't arguing logically and you are borderline trolling now.

:lol::lol::lol:
clown status

anyway still trying to discredit bosh and his skill eh?

i'll always commend bosh more than james and wade because he sacrificed the most of his personal stats and basketball game to come together to win a championship.

wade and lebron got to keep their game and their areas and do what they want to do bosh has had to settle for popping out and shooting jumpers which is CRIMINAL

Jordan couldnt beat Bird in the playoffs, just like Lebron couldnt beat Dirk in the playoffs.
Jordan v Bird or Lebron v Dirk, which is the tougher matchup?

I know he has Lebron in his avi and sig but he's entering super-stan april69 category with this.

I'm going to stop wasting my time in a second. I don't like arguing with stans anymore. It's just a waste of time.

You still did not answer the question. I think we both know the answer. Guys this comparison isnt going anywhere. #6 is going into rare territory and frankly there's really nothing Jordan or his fans can do to stop it. He's no longer active. We will never see Jordan beat the Celtics in the playoffs, or get a triple double in the Finals, or the Olympics. He cant do anything to enhance what he's already done, just watch King surpass it.

LeBron would never let Kobe drop 50+ points on him. He's too much of a competitor. How bout MJ?

You still did not answer the question.

The same way you didn't answer mine. What I do was illustrate why that type of question was erroneous and an example of cherry-picking in the first place.

I could go on

How many times has Jordan averaged less than 20 points in the Finals.

How many times has Jordan shot less than 40 percent in the finals?

How many times has Lebron won defensive player of the year?

How many times has Lebron lead the league in scoring?

How many times has Lebron lead the league in steals?

Has Lebron every had triple doubles in 10 out of 11 games?

Do you see how easy that is you stupid muthafucka.

If i weren't a huge fan of Lebron, I would dislike him because of dumb ass stans like yourself.

If you go back a do a search, I was one of the first people here giving Lebron props for his play. Only recently do I even remember you discussing Lebron. You're a bandwagon stan.

When you starting talking GOAT, you can go through a list of criteria: stats, accomplishments, intangibles, etc..

It's too early for the comparison yet. I do think Lebron has a chance if he keeps improving but he has a LONG ways to go... good thing he's entering his prime now but he needs to win titles during this prime because I don't know how much longer Miami will be able to hold off OKC and titles are hard to come by.

When his career is over, I'm confident Lebron will have the body of work to put up on the mantle with the greats.

History is against him catching Michael in titles, NBA Finals MVPs, etc.

Eeww I chop it up with u all the time and u give bron massive props

I do t agree with the Lebron and Jordan comparison two totally different players

With that

First Bron isn't the score first player that Jordan and Kobe were/are

Lets put that into perspective

Bron is a more inclusive player of his teammates than both those guys were/are.

What was Jordan shooting percentage when he avg 40pts ?

You are a much bigger Jordan stan than I am of LeBron. You're the one with the whole "his will was just greater" mumbo jumbo/he played my Pistons so he had to be the best" mantra. Too proud to even admit he cant do some of this shit we seeing right now LeBron do. Too proud to admit that Jordan did not win in the Finals every season he played. Your era is the "past" accept it, just like all those Wilt and Russell fans had to do when yall ignored/overlooked them and their accomplishements to prop J and your "era" up. There's nothing Jordan or you can do to stop this. They're discussing this all over the net and on ESPN today, not just BGOL. Get mad all you want, buy as many "retro" Jordans as you want. Jordan is the old standard. LeBron is the new.

he is a super stan, and that's ok to me because he keeps us posted on all things happening with "king"

its when he keeps moving his focus to hella other shit that's irritating. he came with a long ass post talking bout jordan quit cause he couldn't handle criticism excluding the fact he was coming off of a 3 peat and he had gambling problems and they had just murdered his father...

then he gone say he couldn't handle someone talking slick about his mom leaving out they murdered jordans father his hero the man he wanted to be like

like lebron is the champion of the people or something.
and like if he was the champion of the people that somehow has anything to do with the argument.

like i said earlier jordan is better and that's fine. at this point lebron is carving his own lane so he can be one of the people that scouts try to compare and project talent wise.. like they do a magic and jordan...

he picks a stat and asks if jordan has ever done this

then you come back with 4 of them and he's mush mouth.

then if we go to other shit like finals record and all that then its a silly argument cause rings don't mean anything
meanwhile 6 games of excellence in the regular season puts him over the hump as the goat
