here n houston i prolly coulda got u those same rims for bout half wut u paid specifically cuz they r not all chrome (paint is cheaper than chroming therefore dropping the price )
really cant tell too good whether thats chrome or polished aluminum (polished aluminum is cheaper )
from a money conscious aspect u seem to hav gotten bent ova w no vaseline but hey if u left w a smile and satisfied w wut u spent your hard earned $$ on njoy

The car is a good look fam but more importantly you seem to like it which is what really matters. You can't make everyone happy so don't be surprised that not everyone is feeling the look. I did a few things to my whip and had dudes on a Cadillac forum trying to hate. I love my whip so I say fuck them, you should do the same.
Also, some dudes have mentioned that you should have gotten bigger rims, dropped the car, darker tints, you paid too much, 22's are too heavy for a V6, etc. All of that depends on where you're located. I got 22s and paid $2600 with tires and installation and I got a deal considering that I'm in Jersey. So don't stress the price as long as you got a good deal for those rims in Kansas. Also, going bigger may not work for you depending on the roads in your area. I had to buy 2 new rims after 3 weeks of use cuz of all the damn pot holes up here. I'm actually gonna downgrade to 20s this summer in hopes of avoiding the same problem. And as far as the rims being too heavy, that's nonsense. The ride on my whip barely changed except for an increase in road noise and a slight increase in stopping distance.
Point is, your ride looks good. Enjoy and don't worry about the unavoidable negativity you're gonna get from some people.

Came into thread expecting to not like the wheels. They actually look good on that Charger. Definitely a dark tint and a drop would set it off, but looks good none the less.
As far as wheels being a waste of money, that's coming from a bunch of self righteous simps. We all have our hobbies and interests. I guarantee if peoples' spending habits were put on blast, there are plenty of areas where you can find wasteful spending.

I'm not gonna front like I know much about the power or capacity of a Charger with either engine. But the logic regarding the (in)practicability of 22s seems to revolve around the increased weight of the rims. So a question to those that know; whats the weight difference between the stock rims to 22s? I'll overestimate at 25lbs per rim which is a total 100 lbs. So is he supposed to ride w/o passengers or risk ruining the transmission? Again, I threw 22's on my '09 CTS and haven't had any issues and have noticed very little drop off in performance.
