:heartbeat:

Fell in love with this chick when she was a Longhorn cheerleader in "Man of the House".

Thanks as well, had the app for like 2 weeks but haven't figured out how to follow anybody, heard a Kim K interview where she put her friends on her Instagram and warned them about pics being racy, and weeks later her friends were cutting her off their Instagrams, complaining about the pics being too racy, lol, I WANNA SEE THOSE PICS!:yes:

Hashtag is like a conversation everyone from all over the world can join in on. I love twitter, but I don't use it to follow porn stars, models and other shit that niggas use to simp with. It's an excellent tool to get news, business info, and other shit.

Pretty much what I use it for exclusively. Business info. It is quick when a story breaks.

Twitter is cool as fuck. It's basically texting that everyone can see. If you create an account you can go to the section on your left that gives you options of people to follow. Start following people you like i.e. actresses, teams, etc. You can also find friends from Facebook and Instagram that has an account to follow.

The thing that I like about Twitter is that you can talk/text with celebrities and people in the sports and news business. If you're watching something on TV like the Presidential debate you can join in with the world by Hashtagging your tweets.

During the Presidential Debate I used these tweets:
#debate
#vpdebate
#msnbc
#obama
#romney

This allows you and other people to see what the world is saying live and at that moment.

I'm a Redskins fan so I tweet:
#HTTR = Hail To The Redskins
#redskins

Hastagging is another way to see what's trending.

Some of the people I follow are:
@darrellgreen28
@LarryBrown43
@JoeBiden
@MichaelEDyson
@BaisdenLive
@SuperHeroHype
@MHarrisPerry
@RGIII
@rolandsmartin
@jemelehill
@IAmMaliahMichel
@MsMyaG
@AdamSchefter
@tyrabanks
@aishatyler
@BreakingNews

Great info man! So If I send out a tweet to @BarackObama to say good luck. Would all of his followers see the tweet or just the people running the account?

Anything that you send to him will be seen by him and whoever searches for those tweets and people that are following him as well. They are also called @ mentions.

Anything he tweets or retweets, you will see.

Yea, its the hashtagging and what not that I dont get. Do you just make the hash terms up yourself (ie: "HTTR") or are they known and pre set? If the former, I cant imagine how that would be a useful search method.

I saw someone mention that you don't need to use hashtags after all....what's the point/difference?

No you don't have to use hashtags. Hashtags are just a way for you to get in the conversation with other people. If you don't use the hashtags your tweets only go to the person that you tweet and the people that follow you.

You can usr existing hashtags or create ones.

Example:
If you're watching th Walking Dead on AMC they will give you hashtags to you like #walkingdead or #amc. This gets you in the conversation that everyone is having. While watching the show you may see something that you really like or want to talk about like Michone.

An example to this is:
Damn! Is anyone watching the #walkingdead. #michone is slicing em up. @AMC #zombies

What you did was create two new hashtags for the #walkingdead hashtag. #michone and #zombies. Now other people can join your conversation with the hashtags #walkingdead, #michone and #zombies.

BTW, most people use lower case for hashtags but I dont know why.
