The thing that I like about Twitter is that you can talk/text with celebrities and people in the sports and news business. If you're watching something on TV like the Presidential debate you can join in with the world by Hashtagging your tweets.
I don't think you even need the hashtag.
If you log on or go to twitter.com and type in a keyword in the search engine, everyone's tweets with that keyword pops up.
For example, let's say I'm watching the BET Awards and Elle Varner walks out like this...
I could go on Twitter and type in the Twitter "Elle dress", "Elle", "Elle thick", or "Elle booty"
and all the tweets in the world with whatever keywords I typed would pop up. No hashtags needed.
So if I typed in "Elle thick"
Tweets like "Yo, did you see Elle Varner come out in the piece my dude? She is thick AF!!!" would pop up.
And the search would star with tweets from that second, down to the first time it was mentioned which could have been weeks ago.
I use that shit from time to time to see if a particular club or spot is jumping off by just doing a simple search of the club name that night.
If I see shit like "Oh my god, its going down tonight at _____, so many females." I'm checking it out.
