How old were you when you became a father?

I lost my only child.

Ever since then ive vowed that when i do have kids again (35 now), and if i have a son that he not wait to be as old as me and have as many as he can. I have yet to come close to the happiness that my child brought me. I would want my son to not make the mistakes i made by waiting.

Sorry for your loss. But you can't fold up on that, you have to keep your head high and di it all over again and that happinness you are missing will be back again

Have a photo, in the photo my daughter is 6, Im 27, mommy is 43, grandmother is 59, and great grandmother is 80... Five generations should NOT be in the same damn photo... But thank good good parenting and a work ethic was passed down. OH yeah, two of the four were married for the birth of the children...

That is what kills me about us black folks. we know we are not ready but we say fuck it. sex with condoms sucks but every now and then it is necessary. especially if you know the person you are sleeping with has no longetivity in your world

I became a father at 25 years old. I wasn't planning to be a father to be truthful.
I was going to hit then leave but I didn't wear a condom. long story short I got married at 26 years old and been unhappily married for over 20 years.

damn this is one of the main reason I just file for divorce from the mother of my 4 year old after 2 1/2 yrs. of marriage. I've been with her for the better part of the last 10 years and I feel I wasted those years dealing with her ass (i'm 32 now). The only good thing to come out of it was my beautiful daughter
