Im renting; Not gonna type what I pay, but I live alone in a decent size 2BR in Hyde Park, and the rent along w. the bs amenities is TOO DAMN HIGH! Been living all around this area for over 14 years.

SUPER safe/peaceful location...all i see is LSD and the deadfish smelling lake......but the price has me considering relocating. The price for a lot of things went up in this area after Stephin Fechit became President....but the problem is i dont live next door to any million dollar Mansions and the size of my apartment doesnt match the price.

Even the rent close by in the not so good locations, Kenwood, are going up.

I dont want to own a home....so I might as well just hustle up an extra 1-2k and move near the loop. I was considering moving out of Chicago....but Imma stay put for a while....and just rent as i travel on a month to month type lease until an opportunity presents itself.
