For months, parents have been counting their blessings amid reports that the novel coronavirus seemed to spare children. It was bad, certainly, but at least the kids were safe. Now, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is warning that may not be entirely true.
We got a first report of a positive Covid-19 test at our office this week. They closed the building for half a day as if thats long enough to deep clean the building. At least they have extended our work from home until June 1. I'm not looking forward to going back to the office when half of my coworkers dont know how to social distance. To top it off they already making plans to have work related events.

I just pulled my kid out of all camps for the summer. Too much risk. They all are operating still and say they have measures in place like social distancing, smaller groups, fewer activities, etc. That ain’t enough for me; seeing how some of these kids parents are moving in public; I highly doubt they’ve been following any orders since quarantine started so their kids damn sure ain’t about to listen. I can’t, in good conscience, send my kid into that situation so they can get sick, or worse.
Plus, the whole point of camps are to learn stuff, play, have fun, kid it with friends and make new ones....what they are offering as a means of keeping the revenue is babysitting. I’d be miserable as a kid under the guidelines as proposed.
I’ve got a few weeks to come up with a plan B; shit sucks though; on my end up using most of my accrued vacation time and try to finesse if you work from home days in between since my office is re-opening mid June.

Ordered a stand-alone freezer that should be here today. Got a call, it's backordered for a month. Fuck Karma
I just got out of the hospital (22 days), shit damn near killed me. I had the choice of dying slow or going on the ventilator.......so I spent 12 days on the vent and beat covid19......I wouldn't wish that shit on my worst enemy! shit is vicious!!!

Don't trip, my Pops was a real asshole, dude literally raped my moms and other family members, while my Uncle was in a vegetated state, so to me he is better off now in heaven.

Thanks fam, trust me....I was fucking scared! Knowing the odds, and then the doctor tells me that’s my only chance to live. I’m glad to have made it for my kids, they need me.
