Right now I am 100% vegetarian trying it out for a year ... amma wait till I adjust to that then amma try to eat one meal a day ... and if I die ... on my death bed .... on everything I know and love ... I'm snitchin, and my people suin HNIC and BGOL ... so if yall lyin tell me now :hmm:

Because i didn't turn into a lifestyle.My goal was to drop some lbs,but as you get older.You want to keep in shape and keep the wt off.My goal now is to keep the wt off.I cant go into my 50s 40lbs or 50lbs over wt.If i eat 1 meal,drink water, 1,000 a calories a day i will be alright.Cats need to remember food is energy nothing more and nothing less.You eat when you are hungry or to keep up your health up.

If you hit the gym 3 times a week and can't push 300lbs something is wrong.Back in 94 my work out wt was 225 my max was 350lbs.Some of these cats have never even been to a gym.

Ive been a ovo-vegetarian for a while now. I usually soak my beans for a while to loosen the skin and release the gas-generator (oligosaccharide) before I cook and eat em. Beans cause gas because of the sugar oligosaccharide..which our bodies cant break down...and also because of the fiber thats locked inside. I usually soak for 4 hours in the fridge.....rinse....then soak again overnight. Soaking also cuts the cooking time by more than a half.

I usually soak my beans in plain water and just drink lots of water after i eat the beans to help push the fiber through. I very rarely get gas with my method.

I soak damn near every bean and nut/seed that I eat in order to unlock the nutrients and enzyme inhibitors. Gotta fool the seed into thinking its time to grow/sprout....if you dont...it will keep all the goodies locked inside. I plan to make a thread about soaking beans and seeds/nuts soon for the health forum.

Black soy beans have the most protein out of all beans....but after seeing the large amounts of soybean oil used in most foods sold in the supermarket..I got extremely suspicious & kinda layed off em for a while. I eat more white beans, Lentils, Split peas etc i.e. beans that are next on the list after soy beans for beans highest in protein. If you wanna stick with soy beans...get the fermented soy beans. Fermented soy is the kind of soy thats consumed in most foreign countries like China, Japan etc. Because of the sudden "soy popularity"....most of the soy product producers in the US, even the organic ones, put revenue before the quality of their products. Keep that in mind.

(both on the edit) as I plan to pass it on to interested Fam;
don't really romp with the soy beans here as was turned onto them in Japan but was familiar with the soy also being a oligosaccharide;
my concern dealing with soy was the consumption of those 'crumbs/crumbles' that resemble meatsauce as enjoy meatless lasagna made with the crumbles but the body reacts eventually.
Have wittnessed vegetarians soaking beans as well as enjoyed a few scrumptious dishes that @ first felt like they needed something extra but was fulfilling nonetheless.
Realized that putting revenue above quality for the most part is what this country's about.

I slacked off big time in regards to workin' out & I'm finna get back in da gym to be in tip top shape so by da time I finally enlist in da Navy I'll be good. Especially seein' as how da PST for da rating that I'm interested in is a bitch and da training is as intense as intense can get it I get da contract (which I have every intention on getting when I enlist). It's cardio that I need to work on more than anything else though.

before November last year i was doing 30 pushups every 6 minutes for an hour in the morning and again at night.

and i learned HOW to d it right here on BGOL.

so again, just cause YOU can't do something doesnt mean it can't be done.

Of course only eating one emal a day is sufficient. You know why? You know why black people arent able to WAKE UP? Well we place a high value in eating a LOT.And what we eat is pure garbage.Did you know that SLAVES ate 3 or more meals a day and it kept them submissive? While royalty and everyone else ate only ONE meal a day.Well its no wonder then that blacks wont be able to function at maximum capacity.Listen to this:

Herschel Walker know what he is talking about.Back in 96 i heard janet jackson say she didn't eat nothing but 1,000 calories a day.I said know damn way!

So i say fuck i will give it a try.I ate 1,000 calories ,1 meal and drink mad water.When i started my wt was 6'1 350lbs.In 7 months my wt went down to 235 lbs,but i also walk for 6 miles a day.Look at it like this.The more you eat the more you gain.Unless you work out to burn the fat.The less you eat and the more your work out the more you will burn.I know cat who is 6'3 and his wt was about 265.From april to june the only thing he do is drink fruit juice and eat peanut butter and crackers.He dont work out at all.His wt went from
265 to 185.The cat looks like new person.Hell i'm about to do my 1,000 1,000 calories a day.My wt is 250lb by july i should be 180 lbs.You cats can do what you want,but i will stick what has work for me.By the way that cracker howard stern eats nothing but brown rice each day.

It will take 7 days for you body to get over the shock.Once it does trust me .You will feel better and less headache.I also dont drink milk and eat less dairy products.

i do about 500 pushups a day (250 regular, 250 fist) but i can't see dude doing all that on 1 meal a day and not a full meal at that and maintain that muscle

What people don't realize is your body adapts to what you accustom it too. If you eat less your body will become more efficient in utilizing the food you give it. This increased efficiency leads to more energy and better health.

It's too the point now that I can't eat breakfast or lunch if I do I will get tired and sleepy.

If you guys want to do your own research just google low calorie diet and longevity the studies are out there. Here is an article on msnbc.

I can have energy all day as well off one meal if i get a good 7-8 hours of sleep. People in other parts of the world that live longer than Americans dont follow Americas 1200-2000 calorie, 70+ gram of protein, etc a day regime and they live longer and are healthier than us..... but the shit he's talking about is unbelievable IMO. Aint no way in the hell he's that big and maintaining his muscles off one meal a day (soup, bread, salad), and doing all those activities off 4 hours of sleep.

Like I said...I know everyones body is different & the human body is capable of adapting....but after looking at him im finding his story hard to believe.

Am younger but with his regimen, I do not see it as being difficult @ all as have been eating 1 meal/day for years, @ times, none when too preoccupied & busy; ate only 1 meal today & am full.
HW's been doin the damn thing without them weights since & possibly b4 h.s. if am not mistaken;

The seemingly excessive number (200+ push-ups - 500+ sit ups) really isn't that hard to reach. Let's take for example you have a day off and nothing to do with it. Now I play Xbox/Ps3 some when I have a free half hr before everything else that needs doing. Take for example you play Black Ops. Inbetween matches you have roughly 50 seconds. Imagine if you get down and do push-ups until the next map launches, you could realistically knock down like 25-30 during that time. Multiply that with the four games you might sneak in and you have 100-120 push ups easy. Now if you alternate that between push-ups and sit-ups you could have like 50-60 push-ups and 60-75 crunches done in merely a half hr. Now if a man who is a professional athlete who is dedicated to his craft claims those numbers - I believe it. Any one of us here can do - let's say half - of those numbers.

Tuesday and Thursday I do 2 Mile run, 50 diamond push ups, 50 military push ups as well as Ab work in the gym for 2 hours. Then 1 hour of aerobics and 1 hour of pilates all back to back. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday its 2 Mile run, push ups, sit ups, and Ab work for 2 hours or more. Breakfast is plain oatmeal and a banana or a banana and two oranges. Through the day it's fruit and tuna. Dinner baked or grilled chicken.
