Heat trying to get Chauncy Billups

because the Nuggets GM is an asshole that does alot of shit that doesn't make sense.

 What the hell are you talking about? The Nuggets GM was hired in August. He hasn't had time to do anything yet. Don't make stuff up dude. He came from the Raptors and you know absolutely nothing about him or what his plans for the Nuggets are. :smh:

Why would the Nuggets buy out Billups when they can just trade him to a team for a expiring contract and a 1st round pick? The Heat don't have shit for trade bait. SHIT. They can't even trade Chalmers for anything anymore.

Exactly. These dudes are brain dead:lol:

Exactly. These dudes are brain dead:lol:

Really? nigga???

First talk what you know.

This guy basically had the Nets trade for Melo done on the fucking table. What did he do?

Melo had agreed to go to the Nets but what does he do.

He backs out of it after Melo says yes.

http://www.fanway.com/live/blog/907-denver-nuggets-mishandling-the-carmelo-anthony-situation.html

So, considering all the politicking from both Melo and the Nuggets, will this deal ever happen? If it does, it will happen without the Utah Jazz, who were part of the four-team trade proposal that would have sent Andrei Kirilenko to the Nuggets and bring back Boris Diaw from the Bobcats. The Nuggets inexperienced front office of Masai Ujiri and Josh Kroenke, have damaged their credibility after basically agreeing to the various trades, but then backing out. Also, they tried to see if they could get a better deal from other teams around the league during the downtime, essentially keeping the Nets, Jazz, and Bobcats hanging.

That was so fucking unprofessional. The trade was done but he backs out of to talk to the Sixers to get a better deal and leave the other teams hanging.

While their players were hanging in the wind???

This indecisiveness surely damages the way other teams will view the Nuggets in future trade proposals, involving Anthony or another Nuggets player. This has been a comedy of errors (only no one is laughing) and all indications point to Anthony leaving the organization one way or another, be it via trade before the February deadline or as a free agent after the season, in which the Nuggets will receive no compensation. The combo of Ujiri and Kroenke has been amateurish thus far, which won't leave Anthony with much confidence that the duo can put together a championship-caliber team.

Dude is bullshittin teams with Melo. He has the trade done. Then backs out the last second to try and get a better deal through the sixers. Which pissed off Anthony cause they weren't even on his list. Which pissed Rod Thorn off because he wasted his time where his already disgruntle player Iggy heard his name in trade talks again.

Then the Nuggets released that they were willing to talk to knicks.

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knicks/knicks_make_progress_on_carmelo_pBvlGyeab0htFb4JjKTCGL

The Knicks were ready to ship Chandler for a 1st round pick and what does the Nuggets GM do. He tells them the Nets are willing to give him 2 first round picks.

Knowing damn well he ain't doing business with the Nets.

Billy King said nothing is imminent on any trades, declining to discuss specifics re Carmelo Anthony, but admitting "there's no secret that we're all talking." King said he is practicing patience and offered his perspective on dealing with GMs and agents after being away from the trading game for two years: "Hasn't changed, they still lie."

Again do I need to post more links of GM's saying they aren't trading with this dude?

How bout the link where he says he would rather have Melo walk away and being the lowest paid superstar in the league.

Now correct me if I'm wrong isn't his job is to do what's best for the Nuggets and not trying his best to fuck Melo?

So again talk what you know

^^^^ killa I agree 100%

Billups will get bought out if they trade Melo.

This asshole in Denver is more interested in being the Dan gilbert.

No matter what. Melo leaving will fuck the Nuggets so this dude is more interested in making Melo time as difficult as possible.

Now what he should be doing is get the best pieces he can to help rebuild his franchise.

He has six expiring contracts not counting the billups buyout.

You are basically set to start rebuilding.

Yet he is more interesting in telling Melo. If you don't sign the extension with us we will let you walk in the free agency.

Making Melo look the villain to Nuggets fans that he abandon them.

We get dumb commercials like this but with a denver twist.

Where Melo is doing something totally different. HE IS BASICALLY SAYING TRADE ME!!!! If he wanted to be their he would not leave 65 million on the table.

Yet this GM is more focusing on saying "We will let you walk being the lowest paid superstar in the NBA"

So wait your job is now to fuck with Melo and not to make sure the Nuggets don't end up like Cleveland and Toronto?

How much you wanna bet once Melo leaves this dude starts saying how Carmelo was difficult and quited in the playoffs.

Werd I think melo should counter punch the b.s the gm is on but just sitting there not saying nothing hoping this gm does the right thing is going to hurt melo image wise

You are right. I feel Melo might go through what Lebron went through. Becoming less popular. Leaving the small market of Denver to bigger markets teams (Bulls or Knicks)

I can see them twisting it already.

The same thing happen when Minn trade KG to Boston. Minn started questioning if KG was really injured at the end of 2007. I mean come on. You going to question KG heart???

Melo is going to look the bad guy even though he is doing something that neither Lebron or Bosh did. He is saying trade me to where I want to and get what you can now. I will walk away from nothing and your franchise is set back 5 to 9 years.

The Heat would be better off getting a serviceable big man (a good role player) and a small quick point. Neither one has to be a super star, just serviceable hard working and willing to play his or her role for the benifit of the team.

Yeah "nigga"!

So the basis for your argument is an article from FANWAY.COM? I've never heard of that shit in my life. That's pure speculation anyway. Lets stick to facts. Chauncy Billups isn't going to Miami, unless he signs as a free agent. His contract is not being bought out when he's clearly worth more to Denver in a trade, and Miami has nothing on their roster outside of the big 2 1/2 that anyone wants. That's what I know...not quoting rumors from some bootleg sports site "nigga"!

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/b...r_die_wednesday_as_new_jersey_nets_nugge.html

There u go since you want a more known source.

Speculation. Damn nigga you weren't paying attention when the melo to nets trade fell through?????

No matter what this dude back out of trade that only needed melo blessing and fuck over three teams. Hell he didn't even back out of it. He kept it on hold saying he was trying to retool it. When he was really talking to the sixers trying to get a better deal.

Now explain to me how the fuck that isn't unprofessional????

So again nigga talk what you know.

Also I never said billups is getting traded oh and the nuggets have let it be known they would buyout billups if they trade melo.

According to a CBSSportsline.com report, Nets minority owner Jay-Z recently met with Anthony's adviser, William Wesley, in an effort to plot the Brooklyn native's arrival. His success ultimately hinges on the deal's remaining holdup: the Denver Nuggets, who continued Sunday to stall and, perhaps, jeopardize the blockbuster trade with their indecisiveness.

The Sixers and Denver are talking about a potential trade that would bring Carmelo Anthony to Philadelphia and send Andre Iguodala to Denver, a Western Conference executive has confirmed to the Daily News.

The executive said Nuggets GM Masai Ujiri has spoken with Ed Stefanski.

Other players would need to be involved in the trade to match salaries.

The Sixers are not among the four teams that Anthony has said are his preferred destinations, with Chicago and New York at the top of his list.

The Sixers also would need to get Anthony to sign an extension. His contract expires after the season and he has not signed a 3-year extension offered by Denver.

Iguodala agreed to a 6-year, $80 million contract with the Sixers in August 2008.

Watch sports videos you won't find anywhere else

that move was the one that pissed off Melo because he had agreed to the deal but the GM goes and talks to a team that wasn't even on his list. Rod Thorn was mad because this only made Iggy more disgruntle

Why do New York niggas keep claiming Melo as one of their own when Melo claims himself to be from Baltimore. He went to school in Baltimore. He's always in Baltimore. His family lives in Baltimore. He has a Baltimore tattoo. And he was was on the stop snitching DVD which was filmed in Baltimore.

cause he was born in BK. That's where LALA is from. That's all but Melo wants to settle back in NY. Why he sold his home in Denver.

I feel one way or another he will be a knick

the heat dont need another perimeter player they need a 7 footer that boards and blocks shots that can hit the occasional jump hook. marcus camby would be nice or even JaVale McGee
