Now back to the show. I really like how this season has branched out to focus on some of the other characters. Like Lawrence... I've been exactly where Lawrence has been at. Especially trying to date a chick when I had left my old firm and was grinding every hour for a dollar... I didn't even notice that I had pushed ol girl away. Then when I finally got back on top.. it took awhile to completely get over her because you mind.. there was unfinished business.

Issa might need to slow down on this "hoe" phase - I get it, it happens to a lot of women (even if we don't like to admit it.) But, you might miss out on a good thing by doing so, and I don't mean a relationship as much as mess over a good man, etc. Sometimes it's best to just be with yourself and figure out what the hell you want and what your previous relationship taught you before you start jumping into peoples' beds. However, I can say this as a married woman in my 30s...don't even want to think of where the hell my head was at in my 20s, though lol.

Idk...I think this is really hard for women, especially women who grow up in two parent households in which we are extremely close to our fathers. For years, I kept dating men that I felt had attributes like my father because I looked up to him so much. I can't imagine what it feels like for the idea of this man you've looked up to for decades to come crumbling down...especially as they are renewing their vows. One can even say her crazy high expectations of a partner due to her ill perception of her father can be the reason why she's fucked up in relationships...For a woman, it's definitely different.

When I was in undergrad, one of my Psychology professors posed the question to us, "When does divorce hurt a couple's offspring the most: when he/she is a child, or when he/she is an adult?" We all thought, "Childhood, of course." But, that's false - it's actually adulthood. Because, in your mind, you've built up an image, a whole idea of what something is and now it's completely crushed. As a child, you're still forming those ideas of who your parents are, as individuals, as a unit.
I don't think it's naive of Molly to think her parents weren't immune to cheating. She knew other fucked up relationships and marriages - she just thought her parents' marriage was different.
