The show really should have been about Ricky and the Rock and his goofy boss. All the other characters are boring as hell and just seem like they are there to fill in time so the show can run 30 mins. Vernon seem slow as fuck and I'm still trying to figure out what is the purpose of Charles. Charles character would have been better if he was an ex playboy football player trying to clean up his act and be a good husband.

Denzel son definitely owns every scene he is in. very good cadence on his dialogue and hey Natural commanding presence. when he was talking about his father it was very passionate and there is a lot of Danville and him. talent definitely did not skip a generation

'm still trying to understand why Spencer continues to engage Vernon and Reggie. It can't just be for the money - surely, Vernon's not the only player getting paid (and really, he's dead broke, so I understand this even less). Vernon annoys me more than Reggie - he's just so...dumb.
I think Vernon is an elite defensive tackle, they mentioned him in the same realm as Gerald McCoy and JJ Watt, so if Spence gets 4% of every dollar he manages, he's looking at $3 million alone from Vernon's deal.
