I'm discounting primes. I stand by my statement. I'm discounting the stats you posted and your analysis of them.
I think championships are bullshit but people think LeBron is a cinch to get number five... I remember when I thought Kobe and Derek Jeter were each going to win at least eight championships. People make a lot of positive assumptions with LeBron and the performance is never as easy as the prognostications.
Let's see the results for the alleged greater player -
2005 - Led team to last place in worst division in basketball
2006 - 1st round playoff exit
2007 - 1st round playoff exit
2008 - 6th seed and headed towards missing playoffs until Pau Gasol saved the day.
and people really expect themselves to be taken serious in any basketball related discussion comparing someone like that to LeBron.
Clearly those dudes in your barbershop are either a) too young or b) don't know shit about the internet. If they were SMART (and clearly they aren't), they'd go back and look up when Kobe entered the NBA and then take a look at all the MVP winners to see who Kobe's competition....It seems you didn't either. Jordan was there. Duncan was there. Malone was there. Iverson. Garnett in his prime. All players in their prime...Your shut down just got shot down.
Do they kick you out of the shop when you say this stupid shit? Is Shaq considered great? What about Wilt?

So in 18 years, he was only the best player in the league 2 seasons? You call him a great scorer, but he only had 2 scoring titles in 18 years? You are blaming his failures on the level of competition?
The shit does not add up, literally. #1 I am not young, #2 I saw him fail time and time again, don't need know internet to think for me. The proof is in the pudding. In 18 seasons, he really did not accomplish as much as it seems, playing with Shaq helped him learn how to win. Take it or leave it.
The Kobe hate is strong with this post lol.

You DO realize that EVEN JORDAN (who was clearly the best player IN THE NBA) didn't win MVP every single year RIGHT? So the MILLION dollar question is this...How much value should YOU (the one who is using the MVP as the foundation of you ENTIRE argument) put into an MVP when Steve Nash won it twice?![]()
C'mon man....your entire argument is in the gutter with two bullets in the back in the head...![]()
Jordan and Lebron did not play 18 fucking seasons either to reach their goals. Jordan only played 10 full seasons with the Bulls. 6 MVPs in 10 full seasons is greatness. Only took Lebron 10 or 11 seasons to trump all his individual shit. When y'all learn to count to 18, hit me back! Now you know why niggas hate math.
Who else can't count? Don't try to bring Nash into it, the thread is not about Nash.
Bruh...you MISSED the point...It's not about the number of seasons..it's about the fact that YOU SHOULD NOT be placing a lot of emphasis on MVP trophies. THAT SHIT is a marketing ploy. You're talking about hating math when you FAIL at LOGIC.

Can't keep running from the facts and numbers.
Who has been the most popular player in the NBA for the last 18 seasons? Google that shit Mr. Logic, that shit did not help him win more than 2 scoring titles....
Can't keep running from the facts and numbers. The truth hurts like a motherfucker!!
Popular player?Scoring titles? Really?

When did having 2 rings become better than having 5?

This is the reason I fell back from being a Hardcore Kobe supporter.. Because there are Too Many delusional Kobe supporters out there.[/I][/B]
Word my brother. The best IS kobeLebron, in the words of Skip Bayless, is a stat stuffer.
Lebron is about to lose another Championship run with the Big 3. The Heat lost by less points in the game Lebron didn't finished. The last 2 loses were by 19 and 21 points to an older Spurs team than last year.
Lebron's big 3 lost to Dirk, all by himself, Norwitzski. Now they are losing to old ass Tim Duncan.
Kawhi is matching Lebron's output this series.
Lebron hasn't surpassed Kobe in accomplishment in basketball. He is better than the older kobe right now that's it.
Lebron is a top shelf player with the support of top shelf propaganda.
I see the possibility of Lebron opting out of his contract to chase another ring with more top shelf players.
Yep, Kobe was the most popular player, but he got no votes for season MVP's, I wonder why?
If he only won 2 scoring titles in 18 seasons, what was he really great at?
Lebron damn near does EVERYTHING better than Kobe..scores more and more efficiently. Which might be expected from a forward except Lebron scores just as much from the perimeter as the post. He even has the better numbers in areas you would expect from a guard, like assist and steals. If Kobe had to share the ball with a great such as Shaq, how would that account for his lesser assist and steals??
Cats think Kobe is better based on his circus shots and because "he wants it more"..![]()
This has to Hurt for the Lebron supporters though...
dude is Blowing another Championship, allowing the Kobetards to come out of the Wood works to start back up Lame ass Kobe vs Lebron talks.
If Lebron would just take care of Business, we wouldnt have to deal w/ seeing Corny ass Niggas comparing him to the Most Overrated Player in the History of the NBA (Kobe).
I blame this shit on Lebron.
