Gym Rats...Gym`s closed what y`all doing around the house to stay in shape?

Invested in a good home universal weight machine and a treadmill years ago mainly because I got tired of wiping other people's sweat on gym stations (nasty bastids). The trade off was missing fine toned female gym rats that after some conversation more than once turned into some good "let's get together" sex.

Not trying to be cheap but there are items around the house to hook you up. If your kids have old soccer or basketballs. Cut a hole, fill with sand, duct tape it back up. If you have multiple fill with a variety of sand levels. Now you have some weight to do a wide variety of exercises. Save milk jugs or a 3 or 5 gallon water bottles, fill with sand or water for more weight.

Throw your kids on your back and knock out some squats, pushups or lunges.

A bar or broom over a chair to knock out some pullups. Took my daughter to the park after our bike ride yesterday and knocked out pullups on the monkey bars.

Set up cones or markers in your driveway or street and run suicides.

Hit up a junk yard and grab a truck tire. Flip that bad boy around or get a sledgehammer and slam it down on the tire. May be able to find cinder blocks there also.

And sit-ups.

I’m about to start running or playing basketball outside. Away from people of course.

Have those also and a AB wheel. Picked up a resistance band bar months ago a must if your doing band workouts.

If anyone has a link to buy some plates, preferably 45, 35 and 25 pound Olympic style, post it. Can't find shit online. Got the bench today, barbell and ez curl coming tomorrow and Thursday, but still need some plates.

Most of those items don't ship online cause they are so heavy right now and not "essential". Do you have a Play it Again Sports near by. I don't know your location but Dicks Sporting Goods is still doing curbside pick up.

I want to laugh but I know that pain you must be feeling.

Years ago home fitness would of been the last thought on anyones mind in a crisis. Now its number 2 behind toilet paper.
A lot of cats can feel themselves shrinking right now. Shit is hilarious with the online comments. Gyms going to still be taking that money out of accounts and ducking phone calls like someone who owes their bookie.

I cant even call cause no one is there. They better give me my money back. What if the business doesn't come back. Judge Judy is getting a new show and perfect timing cause she will be getting all of these I didn't get my money back during the Corona crisis, I'm suing.

 Mannnnn I rode by my gym today and got sad. My gym is still open but i just decided not to go in there. They have been trying to keep members coming by posting Facebook vids/photos showing them cleaning every second and practicing social distancing by only letting a certain number of people in there at a time. I’ve been doing home workouts but it’s just not the same:crymeariver:

am i the only one that working out at the crib has gotten old fast ...

it`s no substitute to seeing the occasional fine ho doing squats or jus walking by ....:(
