GTA V 1.09 update now live​
The GTA V 1.09 update has gone live within the last few minutes and we just got asked to update to the new patch, although once the improvements were installed it looks like the money is still there online without any change.

This install took place within the last hour, so if you haven’t been on Grand Theft Auto V online within that time you should check and see if patch 1.09 is live for you.

We have had confirmation of the GTA V 1.09 update being live in London, UK and a few locations in the United States. The gamer feedback received so far reveals that money gained through glitches and gifted hasn’t been removed at the time of writing.

This is why a number of players want to know what the GTA V 1.09 patch notes included thanks to the money glitches or millions in the bank through gifts remaining. If you have had money removed after installing the GTA V 1.09 update, then please leave a comment detailing this and what location you are in roughly.


One Product Reviews reader stated, “Yep, I still have billions after installing the GTA V 1.09 update and I see high money levels everywhere. Not sure what they patched, but no one cares unless it fixes the online money problems”. Another added, “I expect the GTA 5 1.09 patch notes to be live within 24 hours and the update just gives Rockstar the ability to make a sweeping change”.

A lot of the changes they're not announcing. Tried logging in today and that bad sports counter said goddamn 90 days.

Can't wait to see the notes of this latest patch. I am considering buying a tank and buzzard while I can. I got over 7 million left....Either we gone to see new hacks or sweeping changes.

I think it will be a hot fix or a quick patch to remove the money if they can. This patch was to stop their files from being hacked. They did ban some, but it's a lot of high ranked players around.

It will go some ways in dealing with how the money and the insane online player lvl's(300+) will be handled.

I guess we will have to wait until patch 1.10 for some content it seems. I heard rumors of mission creator. If so it will be a redneck and cop killing affair:yes:. However just remember on the other side it will be chock-full of n!99@ killing missions for sure so just be prepared and keep it moving. I will not even play those.

It would be fun to kill NPC's dressed as we sit fit. Killing fruit-offs in gay attire would be fun. Remember them trannies from story mode? It would add extra incentive to survive if alternative lifestyle people could be used as mission opponents:lol:

Also we could make missions like "Kill the RICH crew" or something:lol: It will be a way of dissing and taunting crews. Also create a mission called "Big_Ego The Shark Card Snitch Must Die". This would be a good way to go at some people on a personal level. Even send your enemies the link. I can see this being really fun.

and all your friends ave to load the patch before you can join them, that's why it says can't join friends "due to incompatible assets"

When I was looking for news on the new patch I saw something about mansions being added on the GTA support page. This was the first time I heard of mansions being added.
 
I think the patch is a tattle tell so to speak....

It has in it all these different checkpoints and if something triggers one of those checks then you'll see the R* hammer.

I don't expect to see any new content until the next patch. This is nothing more than a bug planted on your system to help them weed out who did what faster.

Ok Rockstar listen up!
I am a Dad who has given his son real money to buy GTA $.

He loves your GTA games and to be honest so do I (right back to my PS2 days).

I have been disappointed to see cheaters/hackers/modders rolling in their flashy cars with Billion dollar balances when we both make do with relatively little in comparison.

Therefore I applaud your recent announcement that modded money will be removed soon from the whole GTAO community. Great.

However ... as a user of social media sites like Reddit, you need to be made aware that cheaters are busy swapping ideas and methods to hide money before you remove it!

The current favoured method seems to be creating a 2nd character with a ten car garage, sending it money, then buying 10 expensive cars like the Adder. The intention would then be to sell them after you remove modded money, leaving the cheaters with millions, laughing at Rockstar.

This would not be acceptable to me, and probably many more parents who control the real money that MIGHT flow into GTA in the future.

In summary - please don't just remove money. That's easy for you to implement sure, but you MUST remove items purchased with modded money too. You MUST do this.

It will leave some cheaters with negative balances - so the simple answer is for the game to give them the option of playing on or starting again with a new character.

Frankly if this is not resolved in full, I will never allow the purchase of GTA $ again. And that's gonna hurt you guys as I am not alone in thinking this.

Ok, over to you Rockstar... go clean up Dodge.
