Just go to emblems and have a shot at it
. You can make something nice but how much time do you want to put into it? It was very frustrating due to limited options, no drawing tool and zero color gradients
. You can scale size, use layers, opacity tool, duplicate tool, locking tool and rotate tool but as I said it will be time consuming due to limitations.
I am encouraging involvement so I can't wait to see what you and others come up with
. When I did it I just wanted to make a Quaid because he is our official BGOL avatar/mascot. Putting him in a mob suit would be dope but I hope you are ready to spend time doing it.

No on the import part. As far as the suit goes it can be made by layering the shapes they give you together, but it will be very time consuming. I think a great logo with the options available would take at least 2-3 hours.
can you import an image or do you have to make it from scratch? the image from the quaid shirt could be a backup logo

For anybody that wants to try and make a logo. Watch this video, this dude gives a good tutorial on how to use the emblem editor. You make the image transparent and then you can kinda "trace" over it using the emblem editor. Shit is still hard as fuck to do. I gave it a shot for about 15 minutes and gave up

Yep this proves it is not easy and takes trial and error to make something really tight. However I did learn a little something that I can try in future submissions. Color gradients are not available but you can kinda create one with smaller sized shapes of the same kind using layers and the opacity tool. I could do better knowing this but now it will be a longer process over time at least for me. This is one of those projects you put in a little time in using save then coming back time and time editing and saving until you get what you want. I still wish they atleast provided a simple drawing tool at least then it would make up for the other limitations.
On a side note we should have regular contests for GTA crew emblems.

Bump. Sometime tomorrow the online portion will be up. As mentioned earlier I wonder if the servers will be ready.
Also there are still unanswered invites out there. I have at least three people who have requested but no yet accepted.

. R* should have done gradual opening of servers by geographical region then the transition would have been smoother. Too many people trying to get into Los Santos at the same damn time. It has to be the largest virtual city on earth right now.

Did u request an invite on the social club site? I know the site has been fucking up today, but thats the only way you can join the crew is through that. Or, if u already have a social club username, either me chrislee or drizzy can send u an invite. The link is in the first post in this thread.

"Failed to host a GTA online session" All I've been able to do is create a character, hard even finding a black dude, I just kept hitting random till it made one for me.
It seems there are 2 crew members on now but I can't even join them.

It's not hard to make a brotha. Atleast two grandparents need to be black it seems.
The later it gets in the day the worst it's going to get. Once people get home from school & work shits gonna get really bad. I suggest trying around 2:00 am or just wait until the end of the week.
