Unless you got some type of tactical advantage (jet, tank, explosives skill..) It's difficult.

Go passive
Leave the server
Keep thinking it's best going solo. That shit is not beneficial. With a strong crew like BGOL eventually the numbers catch up to you.

Ill give it to ole boy he refused to leave the server. But he took an all time ass whoppin for being stubborn.
it is fun being lone wolf...having a crew is fun too...just depends on the mood I'm in...lone wolf is not fun when in the bad sports lobbies tho cuz there's hardly anybody to kill...I'm jump on today after I eat breakfast and give moms a call
I only got worked over by a crew once...that's the only time I absolutely wished that someone from crew joined in...I started the shit tho and was talking a gang of shit when I was working them over initially...after that they started playing together as a team...guess I kinda deserved it
anyway I don't see the issue w/ joining a crew...better to have us and not need us than to need us and not have us @ your back 
it's not a real gang...it's just fun to roll w/ crew and make the game a nightmare for everyone else sometimes

it has its advantages i know sometimes i roll dolo just to get some kills because last night on the xbox side was FUCKING CRAZY it was 8 of us in one server. Soon as i see a opp he would be died before i could even pull the trigger!
Im starting to love the long distance battles so im on rooftops a lot sniping. Let me tell you some of the shit i saw from crew members was just ridiculous.

and it was i think it was some bgol member i never heard off before all in the lobby doing there worse!!!!!!!
The Bgol corner boys (me, NewEra and Run4cover) was fucking with this level 15 dude cant remember his name but we literally chased him all over los santos. So dude did some smart shit i dont know how he did it cuz with that level i dont think you can go off radar but he disappear then next thing you know he was at the airport im like wtf. Im guessing he accepted a mission near the airport then quit idk. But we jump in our cars and go speeding down there next thing you know he flies pass us in a titan so me and Run4cover grab a helicopter off the hospital building to following. NewEra goes to the airport gets a G5 jet which he laced with C4
So i catch up to him in the country but i cant really do nothing i try flying into him but it almost killed me. So then i fly over him and Run4cover on some james bond shit jumps out the plane and land on top of the titan then he rolled off and almost died. So now Run4cover is on the ground in the mountains sniping at the plane.
Then shit got real outta no fucking where i see NewEra fly past and he going str8 for the titan. Yep he was on a suicide mission he fly str8 into the gotdamn titan and set off all the c4 and it was fireworks dude died and all you saw was both planes falling that nigga spawned in the mountains with Run4cover and got sniped and he immediately quit!
That shit was to funny after that craziness Bgol memebers started coming into the party and shit got so ignorant in the hood i can even type all the gotdamn stories because yall will Colin Powell me.
Don't come in a lobby with XBl BGOL Killas then they kill you over and over blow up you new ride burn your vehicle at the insurance spot and the in pound. They shot you in the clothing store and ammunition store them muthafukas even kill and burn ya in the strip club! He'll you ain't even safe around cop's they kill them too! If you a lone wolf on BGOL server you Fucked!

Yeah man when we get DEEP in a server shit gets ugly. I mean REAL ugly. And Lord forbid you be stupid and get a tank. It'll be operation desert storm in that BITCH all the tanks that'll come out in response. That dude Reynosa found out the hard way let night.
And we mob the entire map too. We're calculated man shit is crazy. We sit on tank spawn locations, set traps all over the place, keep $1k bounties on you to track your movement, and if u think u getting to a tank you called before one of us get to it
I stole a dude's tank last night on the beach. Me n ghost watched as he stalked the area between the police station n the beach. He thought he had got away from us and went to the beach. But I was in my car and I went off radar and beat him to the beach. We in a foot race now to the tank on the beach. I notice I'm closer than him to the tank so dude stops and just begins shooting me with a mini gun. But I'm too smart for that.... While running I went passive to guarantee he couldn't do nothing to me. Beat him to the tank and began killing him with his own tank.
Aww man and if xxxironxxx's CAMP crew in there
