gotta watch this shit again!
Shheeeiiitt.. not only was it the best episode of THIS current season.... this was probably one of the TOP 5 episodes of the ENTIRE SERIES thus far, imo.
I was only expecting Jon Snow to have beef with the Wildlings who don't trust The Night's Watch... I figured he would have to fight his way out of there or some shit.
But I DID NOT see this whole EPIC 20+ minute battle with the White Walkers coming.
At all. That shit was a 'game changer'.
FOR EVERYBODY.Shhheeeiiittt...them Wildlings was bitching about the Night's Watch at first..... then them White Walkers showed up out of NOWHERE
..... and suddenly..... there ain't enough lifeboats for everybody..... and all these 'naysaying' fuckers CANNOT LEAVE FAST ENOUGH with Jon Snow & The Night's Watch they just had words with.

I can't wait for the children of the forest to get involved. They were the reason men were able to beat the white walkers the first time around.

Well that escalated quickly.
And that was only episode 8.
They did a great job developing her character in such a short time. I was getting attached to her already. Great writing how they showed that even though she was a brave leader and great warrior, she was a loving mother first. She made sure to see her girls to safety and then protect her people. She was kicking ass nonstop but then couldnt bring herself to "kill" a few "children".I thought this kid was that girls dead son for a second.
How the fuck do they get that giant on one of those boats????

So no one is going to tell me why Jon Snow Sword exploded a White Walker and did not break?
Jon's sword is made of Valyrian steel....Valyrian steel is forged with steel and magic/spells....

He turned out to be one hell of a leader too. to do what you have to do in the face of so much resistance from both sides. when he stood against Stannis Baratheon and shot Mansrater with the arrow...wow.

Tyrion and Danearys was also a good dialogue exchange
After the excitement of the battle I forgot all about this part. It was pretty good, although I'm not sure exactly what Tyrion said that convinced her to take him on as an advisor. It was almost like she kept waiting for a reason NOT to take him on.
But this at least explains why Ser Barristan had to die. With him still around, Dany has no use for Tyrion.

The LOOK on that White Walker's face WAS PRICELESS. Minute that sword stopped his spear I shouted Valeryan steel for the winSheeeeeeee-et, Danny talking about breaking the wheel - there may NOT even be a one by the time she gets there
