Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Epic episode....Hopefully some of the wildlings and some of the Knights Watch seen that Kill Jon did to the White Walker. I always liked Snow, hoping some of the theories I'm readying about Olly is not true, HBO need to let him continue to be great :dance::yes:

@ the white walkers face

I haven't read the books but heard spoilers - I hope after tonight D & D says Fuck you to the book readers - otherwise I will be pissed -

Yeah, I have a bad feeling about Olly

Olly is gonna fuck some shit up for Jon. He stay giving dirty looks and asking questions about Jon's plans the same way young Anakin Skywalker was looking at the Jedi council when he was originally rejected for training. He might give Jon that same work Omar Little got in the corner store.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling about Olly

Shheeeiiitt...... judging from next week's Episode 9 preview video....

I got a bad feeling about Ser Alliser Thorne.

200px-Alliser_Thorne_HBO.jpg

He got that look on his face like.... "Look at all these cotdamn Wildlings..... I'm NOT finna open this gate. :hmm: No fucking way. :smh::hmm: I give zero fucks if you are the Lord Commander, Jon Snow. :hmm: Oh and by the way... While you were gone.. I sealed the tunnel just like you recommended before."

Somebody gonna pull some type of fuckery with that tunnel at Castle Black, next week. :smh::smh:
I can feel it.

Man fuck the rest of the story I just wanna see the north shit

Seriously! Funny how the Wall storyline used to be the boring one and all the drama was in King's Landing.

Man I was waiting for Jon was going to recognize one of them White Walkers as his uncle Benjen Stark too.

How do you figure Benjen is a White Walker?

I really didn't think Jon was capable of carrying a show like this. He's proved me way wrong again.

Epic battle tonight. I'll take The Walking Dead "walkers" over GoT undead any day.

Jon Snow is the fucking man. I think as we grow to like his character more and more, his death is more and more likely. Don't get too attached folks.

That skull helmet/mask did nothing to stop Tormund's rage.

That Thenn had no chance against the white walker.

White Walker had the "Oh shit" face when Jon blocked him.

Olly is gonna fuck some shit up for Jon. He stay giving dirty looks and asking questions about Jon's plans the same way young Anakin Skywalker was looking at the Jedi council when he was originally rejected for training. He might give Jon that same work Omar Little got in the corner store.

Olly is going to murder John. The fat dude needs to pick his words more carefully. I could hear the cogs grinding in that little sociopaths head after he got that advice.

I hate to think it but y'all are probably right. I don't trust Olly at all.

I was wondering if Snow's sword was somehow coated with dragon glass or if the Valaryan steel was that powerful. How is it no one else knew how powerful it was? Winter been coming for over 5 years now & yet no one knew how good Valaryan steel truly was?

fam so are you saying someone should have sought out some white walkers and tried their luck so then we'd know that it could kill them?

I thought that nigga was gonna freeze the water

yea i was hoping it was raising the dead and not some cheating shit. if they froze the water might as well just say fuck it. he did the michael jackson remember the time on them fools and smirked.

the one we thought was the man wasn't the man...just another dude.
we saw the MAN tonight and he ain't fucking playing.

Got Dam!!!!

sh-t-just-got-real-o.gif

I was enjoying the episode like cool. alliances made. many face god accepting ol girl. this is pretty nice.. and then the thunder came. :smh:

Man, if you don't row this fuckin boat!

i yelled that shit out loud as fuck
why the fuck aren't you rowing the motherfucking boat!

Snow is going to get the accolades tonight but the one dude in charge of collecting the dragon glass was the REAL mvp tonight

Snow is like... let's collect the glass... and then the realest shit that's ever been said on thrones was said tonight

"Fuck the glass"-

Jon instantly came to his senses...yea FUCK THE GLASS you right man

i knew ol girl was gonna die though. showed her way too much too soon. showed some emotional attachment to her kids. she stepped up first to join.. knew she was gonna die

then them kids... she saw them kids and was like "not the babies... i can't kill no fucking babies!"

Honorable mention to the giant. He earned his fucking keep tonight. From asking dude collecting the glass "the fuck you looking at?"

to breaking bodies apart. waving a flaming tree to buy his boys some time and then dipping in the water... personally i would've asked him to drag us with him.

Man they jumped off that cliff and then got up like let's get it!

Always remember
Fuck the glass...

listen. in the little meeting i was lightweight ready to follow him. move of the night wasn't even the white walker fight. it was on his way to the hut.. running he just busts out with a fucking spinning sword move on a zombie he saw coming before anyone else did and splits him in half and keeps running like it was nothing.

I have my theories why the finale "Mother's Mercy" should top this episode

Man I hope that title means what I think it means.

Its' not what you think it means. :smh: Or WHO you think it means. :smh:

The Showrunners already squashed that rumor when they dropped the title of the episode.... because all the 'book readers' thought they had it all figured out... and started posting spoilers on countless messageboards.

So they said.. 'nah son, you way off... but thanks for playing".

So now the book readers are getting upset that they are not following the books... and that their 'spoilers' are not having the intended effect.

How do you figure Benjen is a White Walker?
Correction. I meant a Wight.

Remember, he went beyond the wall to investigate what was out there and days later his horse brought his two men back to Castle Black and they turned into wights and tried to kill Jeor Mormont. That's why he rewarded Jon Snow with the valyrian steel sword he used tonight.

Benjen is still missing but all signs lead to him being one of the undead now. Especially since we know how his men turned out.

It's not a matter of not following the book. They've moved past the book with some of the characters. There are still some plot points in the book that the show hasn't gotten to yet.

The title Mother's Mercy is more than likely tied to multiple characters.

fuck...kodi let me down...just spent a half hour tryna buffer thru several streams...no luck on any of them on genesis ice or 1channel...guess too many ppl tryna stream it too...shoulda just went w/ a torrent...I'll catch it tomorrow

:smh:Im thinking the same thing. That lil bastid bout to fuck up.

It's kinda confusing, but the last time the White Walkers/Other came as far south as the wall was like 8000 years ago. They only come when Winter lasts longer than normal. Some winters last 3 - 5 years. I think for the Others to get involved it has to last a generation or longer. So that's what people refer to as the "The Long night" when Winter lasts that long.

The only thing that saved humans last time was people discovering that Dragon glass could be used to defeat the others. Something in it's properties causes them to Melt.

Valyrian Steel is less than 5000 years old so it didn't exist when the Others came last time. It's allegedly some type of metal that's imbued with spells and forged with Dragon fire. But what happened in tonights show is basically a new discovery. Dragonsteel vaporizes them Walkers.

The only problem is no one alive knows how to make Valryian steel from scratch, so the only Valryians metal that exists has already been made into weapons and there's only a limited number of them. However, the good news is Dragons (via Dany) are around again so if they can figure out the magic (Melisandre) they can possibly figure out how to make it again.

Great episode tonight. As a book reader this was the most exciting development in the last 10 years.

:yes::yes:

damn good break down bro. i was about to say no one has tried to use valry steel on hese monsters. no one in their right mind

jon snow..thought he was gonna have an army of wildlings...

the whitewalker king..was like...you thought it was gonna be one way....

Agreed. I think it's probably tied to multiple people... or most likely tied to the High Sparrow and the Faith of the Seven.

Especially since The Faith of the Seven consist of...

- The Father: represents divine justice, and judges the souls of the dead.
- The Mother: represents MERCY, peace, fertility, and childbirth. She is sometimes referred to as "the strength of women".
- The Maiden: represents purity, innocence, love, and beauty.
- The Crone: represents wisdom and foresight. She is represented carrying a lantern.
- The Warrior: represents strength and courage in battle.
- The Smith: represents creation and craftsmanship.
- The Stranger: The Stranger represents death and the unknown. It is rarely prayed to.

To me, the title 'Mother's Mercy' is probably linked to the High Sparrow's ultimate 'end-game' that will setup major storylines for next season.

Yooooooooooooooooooooooooo

That was intense :eek::eek::eek:

i was damn near sweating!

i only watch the show!

but mabey cersei will put that bitch of a 'king' down!

With all the other stories unfolding..... mofos pretty much FORGOT about the White Walkers. :dunno:

Sheeeeiiiittt... I still remember how lots of folks were complaining about the White Walkers... and how slow they were moving.... and the fact that they were taking way too long to launch their attack.

If those same folks watched TONIGHT's episode... bet they not complaining anymore. :smh::lol::lol:

Cause it seems like those fuckers can run a 40-yard dash like a pro linebacker.:lol:

They not moving so slow anymore.

Dude was like "You think you got a squad......watch this!!"

:yes::yes::yes:

Where did that Valyrian sword come from?

.

Valyrian steel came from Old Valyria, but I'm going to assume you're talking about that specific sword..The sword was a gift from Jeor Mormont

I have my theories why the finale "Mother's Mercy" should top this episode

I have a feeling this will have something to do with a certain person's sample chapter from "Winds of Winter"
