Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

so she is such a good shot that she missed all his vitals? That bitch was trying to kill him, she was crying because it hurt but its something she had to do, I'm sure Jon would have done the same

Anyone who can pick off a deer with a old fashion bow and arrow at 40 yards is good enough to kill a man in 10 yards. If she wanted to kill him she shoots the horse in the leg and picks him off at her leisure.

Obviously...she didn't want to kill him

Oh, that's right. He's a knight, but not a Lord. Then a fight between just the remaining living Lords, I got my money on Stannis. Dude is a asshole, and apparently a shit parent and husband, but he knows how to handle a sword in a fight.

the divine of the show

You're just asking for some idiot to post spoilers

Trust, I'm not at all trying to make that invitation. Hell, theirs a spoiler thread for those to spoil away. Now, Nothings wrong with speculation as we would do with any other show this one is no different.

SPECULATING

Based on everything that has happened and the folks that are remaining, particularly, on the Stark side I find it hard to believe Jon Snow is *only going to continue playing the role of the Bastard. I personally think he has a much bigger role lined up than at first many of us would think.

I couldn't even begin to imagine what that role could be, but i seriously doubt it's *minor. Also, i think the whole "Bastard" angle is a *deception or rather *misdirection it's more likely, IMO Mr.Snow is far from being just a Bastard meaning in reality he has a powerful Mother or Family name etc. I'm almost certain he's a fork waiting to happen a timely rouse, saved for maximum effect.

Who are you really Mr Jon *Snow?

Even if his mom was a Lannister his parent weren't married. Dude is a bastard and never had the name dropped by his father. Plus he is in the Nights Watch.

Certainly, Certainly everything you've said is valid. But, like i stated earlier and this is completely my own opinion, i really think it's a all ruse! Let's use your statement to illustrated my point exactly

Your conclusions are:

1) Regardless of his parentage he's a bastard
2) He's a Night Watch so he's stuck

To point one:

We have no idea who his parent or "parents" are? Consider this entire time the show has been quite coy with this information. Also, consider Neds last words to Jon before they separated, something along the lines of "When I get back we'll speak about your mother" their something in his tone and that entire exchange and overall mood concerning Jon that suggests theirs a whole lot more going on than just a bastard.

Further, everything about Ned all the way to his beheading suggest that he holds his honor/vows scared. I personally and *SERIOUSLY doubt he cheated on Cat /w some strange women and had Jon and then further brought him into his home.

Their more to that story my friend I can smell it!

Point two the Nights Watch:

You have me here because I don't know much about their vows, BUT their has to be a way to get out of it. Invariably, that way foreshadows the importance of Jon *Snow i think.

You gotta figure it has to be something serious that would allow an *exception for a person e to leave the Black and if that's the case I'm betting that's the exception Jon will get.

This show has been about deception from the beginning lulling you to sleep, foreshadowing. Considering what happened at the red wedding I'm surprise folks are still putting things past.

I could be completely wrong here...But..fool me once

Who are you really Mr Jon *Snow?
Obviously i could be wrong, but its pretty clear who Jon is imo.

Pure speculation based on deductive reasoning but i will hide just in case nobody wants to read it (highlight to read):

Ned's sisters child resulting from a rape by a Targaryen while kidnapped

Not sure if the timetable of wars and his birth line up with that but thats been my assessment for a while now.

I agree with the Jon Snow theory; Ned wouldn't cheat on his wife even Robert barely believed it and teases him about it. At the Tower of Joy Lyanna Stark asked Ned to promise her? Promise her what? I speculate that she eloped with Rhaeghar Targaryen (Daenerys) older brother, heir to the Iron Throne and Jon is their son. Someone has evidence and all hell gonna break loose when it's revealed

I can see why Tywin is not stressing over Dany.

If she shows up with a "brown" foreign army trying to take the throne, every house friend and foe would unite against her. She can't take them all on.

There is going to have to be some kind of diplomacy to get her foot in the door in the 7 kingdoms. I just don't see it yet until the dragons are full grown.

Tical,
Even if his father was Robert BARatheon and a Targareon princess that still makes him a bastard. The only way he has a claim is if Robert married someone during the war the. That means the crown is his. Also you cannot leave the Nights Watch. If you do off with your head.

Once more no arguments from me on what you've proposed. But, your assuming his parents *weren't married and the second I'm less sure of but you "cannot" leave the Nights Watch.

The first without further information is up in the air! We do not know at this time. Also, I gotta believe their is away to leave the Nights Watch?

For example you mean to tell me that the King couldn't legally release you from your vows and assign you to something else??

You may recall that the absolute beginning scenes of GOT was of the "Others" attacking and killing several soldiers of the Watch and Ned beheaded one who ran away in his direction. He wouldn't accept an excuse

Someone of Stark Honor wouldn't go back on his vows with the Nights Watch.

Very Well Gents,

You've stated your opinons and I've stated mines. Which is Jon *Snow will not be serving the Nights Watch(specifically) on the Wall the entire duration of GoT.He will be legally free of that obligation before the shows out!

[sarcasm] Wait, you got all this from JUST watching the show! JUST paying attention! NO! This is, this is a trick!, This is a spoiler, you read the books, NO ONE could possibly figure that from the show alone! [/sarcasm]

Most epics, and such have the underdog becoming the savior of mankind and winning in the end. Sword in the stone, Cinderella, Beowulf, etc.

Jon Snow as a Targ is popular, and makes sense. It's not as if Ned could have told Robert B!

A little encouragement to join the Night's Watch and Ned would have considered him safe from harm as the laws of the kingdom goes. Safe from the King.

If alive, I wonder if BenJen Stark knows anything?

If he is a Targ, I suspect/hope it might help in the fight against the, " Others ". Fire vs Ice n all. Not that he's meant to be the king.

Of course that all seems to obvious and this is Game of Thrones, not LOTR.

I see what your saying but I'm assuming the nights watch will be destroyed soon. Walkers on the way and they ain't bout that life.

His expressions are almost as good as Crixus

This is very likely a silly question with a very obvious answer. But what if Jeoffery orders to have Tywins head? What happens?I mean after all he is the King:confused:

Thats another thing...glad you brought that up. To have a job as important, and vow as honorable as the one the "Nights Watch" has, they sure seem to be a bunch of disorganized, marginally skilled clowns who should not be trusted or depended on to fight or protect anyone or thing.

Robb was the king of the North.

What happened when he killed his Kin?

I said it just as a joke. But, does anyone seriously put it past Jeoffery's crazy ass to attempt?
Especially when you consider how his uncle just sunned him? Remember when his mom slapped him in front of everyone he literally told her, "thats the last time! or else.."

Thus, something to keep in mind going forward!

Murdering your kin is one thing but if you kin breaks the law or does something fucked up you have a legitimate reason to kill them

Joffrey is not that dumb. He knows his limits. What guard would even step up to do it?

Oh no doubt that he's contemplating it..he already put a hit out on his uncle last season

But I think he knows better than to try to attempt to wipe out the most powerful man in westeros..and if he don't know...any lackey that he'll hire for the job will tell him

If Joffery is in the Iron Throne with the Gold Cloaks...Tywin would die, and the House of Lannister would crumble. Notice Tywin never confronts Joffery when his guards are around (he's not stupid)

the soldiers know where their bread is buttered.

like he and tyrion said he who controls the army controls the kingdom.

Tywin is Joffreys grandfather, right? He gets power only because his grandad is a bad muhfuhkah.
