Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I wanted the old man to slap Joffrey before sending him to bed , has Joffrey been slapped this season ?

That 10 season prediction seems like bullshit now after reading that article.

If they're going to potentially combine books 4 and 5 into one season and if the 6th book isn't even finished yet I don't see them pulling 10 seasons off. I think six or seven is probably the likeliest bet.

Well they could incorporate portions of book 4-5 and possibly make 2 seasons out of it.

But they will have to stretch that bitch out though

I'm confused.Bolton told Frey that the Ironborn turned on Theon and gave him to his son.So why did Ramsey Bolton threaten him if they were allies? And why did the sister think it was all brand new?

Yeah or maybe they'll add shit that isn't in the books

Threaten who?

Why not have 4 seasons base on books 4 and 5..just put portions of each book in those 4 seasons or just split each book ... :dunno:

You would think they thought of this shit, before they decided to get the rights to the books

Nobody wants 4 seasons of book 4 sprinkled in here and there

The show will become wattered down as a product if they try to stretch out 4 seasons on material meant for 2 seasons at best IMO.

Are those books that good?

Many considers book 4 the weakest, since most of the usual characters isnt in there, but the new characters does play a huge part of the story though.

Book 4 and 5 are basically the same book but book 4 introduces new characters, while book 5 brings back the usual characters...Both of the books are happening at the same time..

Why not, both book are basically the same, but book 4 concentrates on the new characters and lets not forget book 4 and 5 are happening simultaneously anyways

I dont see the point of splitting books 4 and 5,when they're happening at the same time...:confused:

I never made an argument against splitting up books 4 and 5. I said they should incorporate both during the next season in earlier posts, the article mentioned the same thing.

My issue is with your recommendation to create 4 seasons based off of book 4 and 5. That's all.

Why not, both books are long as fuck and has enough material for 4 seasons...I can see them doing 3 but 2 is too low,if you're doing books 4 and 5..

Both books have enough material to have 2 seasons each....

Did you happen to read the article that was posted on the last page? Even the creators of the show know that book 4 is an eye sore. It will be difficult to transfer that story to the big screen. They will likely rely on more of book 5 storyline. Sure they can incorporate books 4 and 5 simultaneously but 4 seasons based of both is stretching it man. Book 3 is not even over yet and that will spill into next season too when they pick up the story again to finish off book 3. So we have that going for us.

At best I think they have a good 3 seasons of material left with the addition of the other portion of book 3 that still needs to be told next season.

Why did Ramsay Bolton threaten Balon Greyjoy? I get the impression that Ramsay has his own agenda. Didn't he sign that letter as "Ramsay Snow: Warden of the North"? I thought his father Roose was the new Warden.

That ending was a lil cheesy lets keep it real , I know you nerds love this show with a passion

White woman savior gonna save us all, bitch is the ancient Oscar Schindler

I'm so confused with that story line. Probably the only one I don't get. I felt like they cleared somethings up this episode but I still don't get it.

Peace,

You have a valid question, allow me.

In the show.

Bolton told Robert Stark he could send his Bastard, Ramsey Snow, to retake Winterfell.

Robert offered any Ironborn man pardon if they gave up Theon and brought him back to him so he could take his head himself.

Why people on here had such a hard time knowing who was torturing Theon. :dunno:

Spoiler wars, I think most Americans are looking for, Lord of the rings. Not reality, hence, " You never would have known of the red wedding if you didn't read the book ".

Wow, if anyone, ( WASPS ), knew & understood true Feudalism or the destruction of the Roman Empire, ( House Targaryen ). You might have a clue.

I digress.

For my humble opinion to address your questions.

So why did Ramsey Bolton threaten him if they were allies?

If Robert Stark could have continued the war, ( If he had not beheaded Rickard Karstark and lost half the Northmen ).

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SlowcpKuQsI?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SlowcpKuQsI?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

They most like would still be allies. But Ramsey Bolton knew his father was prepared/made arrangement well before, to betray and kill Robert Stark after the North was totally lost.

Theon became only a piece in the game towards the Ironborn Greyjoys.

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0y-uQp55Z7o?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0y-uQp55Z7o?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

If you can't figure what Bolton was doing. You have comprehension issues.

And why did the sister think it was all brand new?

She did not. She knew how it might play out, and his capabilities.

Honestly Tywin isn't such a bad guy. He's just ruthlessly effective at what he does.

Tywin isn't an evil or bad guy at all period.

The thing most have to do is let go of the good guy bad guy stuff with most of the characters. We have to see it from their point of view. Someone trying to kill your family what do you do?
Someone kidnap your kid what do you do?
Someone has your kid hostage and declared war on you what do you do?

Now we can say Joffrey started this bullshit with killing Ned. Something I don't think would have happened if Tywin had his way but people were scared of Joffrey.

You see Joffrey turn into a little bitch once someone who isn't afraid of him comes around. Its why he tried to have Tyrion killed. He isn't stupid enough to try and kill his grandfather yet.

That was by far my favorite scene. I'll comment on the other stuff later but that scene right there? Tywin and Tyrion destroyed him. DESTROYED HIM.

When tyion walked in and asked if he killed some puppies today
when tyrion told him to speak softly to monsters? and then told Joffrey in layman terms "King get killed everyday b" :itsawrap:

Joffrey started screaming like a bitch then Tywin told him to settle down. then Joffrey got out of pocket and Looked around the room for approval like amirite? right guys? and they were looking like nah bruh you on yo own talking to tywin like that

sent him to bed... cersi got her son out of there in a hurry like aye boy come on you dont wanna do what you trying to do.

Tywin and Tyrion are exactly alike. If only tyrion wasn't a midget. If he was regular size he'd no doubt be tywins favorite.
but he's not so its Jamie. I needed to see more of a reaction. They could've shown Tywin giving his son a hug or something.

Moral of this entire season is Tywin Lannister ain't nothing to fuck with period.

Arya is a beast (3-5 years from now there are going to be a gang of Arya's in kindergartens everywhere). They saw her walk up like, "She's no threat. Then, BOOM!

"THe Hound said, "Where did you get the knife?"

"I took it from you....here" and hands him back the bloody blade.

She has been my favorite character. From when she threatened Joffrey in season 1. Something about her then said she had stones. Didn't think she'd outlive Robb, but I just started on book 2.

Too bad we gotta wait a whole other year from this shit.

You ain't lying! My niece just gave birth to a baby girl last week and named her Arya.

they can all die fuckem em all. sansa bitch makes me laugh dumb bitch she can die first.

She summoned the assassin that helped her out last season so presumably she will him/them and become a trained assassin.

yeah, I thought the directors handled that kinda rough. It was like "forget about all the stuff we showed you with Arya this year", she's still got the coin and the ability/desire to kill people. So yeah, she's back on that track now.

If tyrion were regular sized, tywin may have openly admired him begrudgingly but favorite? Forget it. As far as tywin is concerned, tyrion murdered his wife on the way out of the womb and neither him nor cercei will ever forgive him for that.

I don't think Ramsey Bolton threatened Balon Greyjoy in the letter sent to him with Theons body part. I believe the letter was actually written by Boltons bastard son. The one who is touturing Theon Greyjoy.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I am glad they had filmed that scene. I didn't know that Rob Stark/Ramsey Bolton offered amnesty to the iron borns who invaded Winterfeld with Theon....if the gave Theon up. I also didn't know they went back on the deal and killed all 20 of those iron born when they got Theon.

you're mixing up ramsay and roose. roose was the one who stabbed robb at the red wedding and ramsay is the one torturing theon. he's roose's bastard, hence the name ramsay snow. so the letter was written, as signed by ramsay (roose's bastard)
