Maybe Creed or GadgetMan can answer this. I'm planning on getting a myTouch. I assume that because it has the same specs as the Hero it should be easier to get a Rom on there correct??

why don't you just get Hello AIM from the market, it works....btw finally rooted and am currently running the Hero ROM...
I have no experience with the mytouch. I assume since the specs are better than the G1 u should be fine. My next phone is either the morrison, an unlocked sholes or the samsung or the g1 v2 in oct haven't really looked at the stuff out now...i do know the tmo pulse (the hawauii phone) is dropping end of sept or early oct n its specs r very nice too.
Where can I find some of the phones that your talking about. I've never even heard of the G1 v2. I just saw something about the pulse but I haven't been able to get the specs on it yet. I just want something that runs smooth. I thought that the G1 was stellar till I bought my wife the myTouch and messed with it a bit and its alot smoother than I expected.

The interface. Likelyhood of bricking an android is low. I havent done it I'm waiting for oct or nov 4 an upgrade either a moto with blur or a sony with rachael or if htc makes a new interface for g1 v2

The Xperia X1 is a great device, the X2 is rumored to be its WinMo wielding successor and if we’re lucky enough, the Android-based Xperia X3 rumor will pan out too. I like what I'm seeing from the Pulse though. The 2gb internal memory alone has me feeling it. I have seen a release date for it yet. Has anyone seen a date for a USA release for the Pulse yet.

I'mma get a morrison if the samsung houdini(supposedly the galaxy with a physical keyboard)... htc is gonna come out with it especially after their att offering was cancelled. With the instinctQ and the sholes they gotta come out with it.
I hear good things about the moto androids n the blur interface(supposedly it makes the webOS cards look slow lol)...we'll see...the morrison is appealling...great specs and a keyboard plus donut aka android 2.0...and for 100 reportedly...i wont even have to use my upgrade so if a hotter android comes out for tmo i can use my upgrade on that.

Do you think that the google tagged HTC phones (or google tagged phones period) will hurt the carries??
