My probation could be over as soon as July, but she said she might extend it until fall because I had a violation (I didn't know I couldn't drink, so I was positive for alcohol once. The tested me for 2 .months after that and nothing)Thx bro !!!

My first 2 hearings I was denied over a misdemeanor weed charge, that happened over 15 years ago.
I paid the fine and I never had another issue after and they wouldnt grant my expungement due to that shit.
Shit is all a racket.
Find a good attorney and see what he has to say.
Long story short I got in a some trouble when I was younger, had a couple X's on my jacket. I been trying to get my record expunged for a while now. I had 2 denials and my lawyer said he would have everything wrapped up around this time last year. Well covid hit and that delayed the process, today I get a call saying everything will be done by next week. I finally get to go get my FOID card and go take conceal carry class, I am super fucking excited !!!

To be honest, the only reason I went for the expungement was for the foid card.
I have a career so a change of job is out of the question.
I cant really say anything else has changed as I havent tried to pursue anything else.

I got my shit expunged couple weeks ago and I'm ready to go full legit. A friend of mine owns a gun store and he says he has ran a check on about 2 dozen people here in Ohio that said their shit was expunged and each time, their record showed up anyway and the couldn't get their gun. He said i would have to get with the ATF i think and they would run me and give me an authorization pin and then I could purchase the gun(s).
When I went online to check my criminal record and my name didn't show up, I was happy as shit! Now I'm gonna get my passport and I actually feel good that i did this. I was gonna do it 15 years ago and never got around to doing it (just fucking lazy) but my gf hooked that shit up and I owe her biggly.
