Aint this the mutha fuckin truth ! Last year when my boss and I were talking and he mentioned a senior was retiring, he specifically said to me in long conversation, if I wanted to move up, I would have to have someone ready to fill my shoes and do my job. This is like a 30k increase in salary per year plus bonus, I won't let this opportunity slip away.
Truth be told I do want to rat this dude out.
When I think about the bigger picture, he gonna lose his job, word gets out possibly his wife and kids, young black janitor probaly lose his job. It is a lot to have to carry on my mind, plus the guy is not a bad guy, and very good at his job.
That being said I just might have to keep my mouth shut. I aint trying to ruin anyones life.

I gotta work with this dude. It is going to be real akward working with a guy I seen blowing the janitor. I know gay people, I have worked with gay people. I have never been subjected to seeing two guys having a sexual encounter. It is almost traumatizing to say the least. I think it has been said enough but this cat is a janitor so it hurting his work performance is unlikely to happen, unless janitor starts tripping. So involving management doesn't seem logical. Honestly if you want to make a power move this is to your advantage. You will have someone who owes you big time. Call him to your office and discuss that his secret is safe. Let him know that it is all about business and what happened will not be discussed again. However, conveniently have your phone recording during the conversation and keep it as a trump card. This guy could be a worthy asset to your career.

My boss is cool, he'd probably laugh the shit off, then tell me he could fire him for inappropriate acts, and then give me a long speech about the senior retiring and me moving up. Ultimately I can already hear him saying if word gets out, and he fires him it is my responsibility to find a new candidate to fill his position and mine before I can get promoted.
