I wouldn't say owned, but she was caught completely off guard with HOmans logical answer. There was even an awkward pause as she tried to gather herself. A lot of women argue with emotion overriding logic and that shit can and often does backfire. She kept pressing for an answer to that question and she got one she COMPLETELY wasn't expecting. She'll always cape hard for her people legal or not.......so any answer he gives, no matter how complete, will never suffice.

You can't actually think she won that exchange do you? I agree she wasn't owned but she was out of her element with that old ex cop CAC bitch. Fuck him but he got the best of that exchange for sure.

No bitch, you are as emotional as women are when it comes to shit like this. I ain't caping for that CAC nor the OP. I just said she did not win that exchange. At best no ground was gained nor lost. I just pointed out the awkward pauses that caught her off guard.

He did make a point. I agree that she was a little taken aback because the way he interpreted the law was logical. Especially when he gave example of American citizens breaking laws when they are with children. But when she tried to clap back about them not breaking the law and simply seeking asylum he had a logical rebuttal for that also. That's when she tried to wrap it up.

Been in many of those type exchanges. Calmly laid down facts and logic and when it was to much for the other person, they change the subject.

    He didn’t make any point.

He refused to answer her question. If the government came into your neighborhood and ceased all your children I’m sure they would have some logical law you broke to justify it.

Aliens are almost never charged with 1325. 1325 is a criminal charge, through the federal court system. The same judge and AUSA that’s working terrorism or narcotic cases. Aliens are usually charged administratively, through the immigration courts. The illegal immigrants they’re talking about are coming, seeking political asylum. They’re supposed to be able to go to the port of entry and present themselves and file a claim but the Trump administration has limited itself to only 40 people a day, even though they’re several hundred there trying, that’s why they’re crossing illegally but Trump won’t allow them to present themselves.

From what I recall entering the country illegally is a misdemeanor. We can argue about whether it should be a felony or not, but it is a misdemeanor. This is punishable by fine, but never incarceration. I can't think of any misdemeanor that requires jail time and separation of ones children from their parents.

Again, if a felony the conversation would be different.

    my 2 cents

I don’t understand why you idiots think this AOC chic is a friend of black people??? Even though she Puerto Rican and they’re US citizens she sees that connection cause they’re all Latinos.

If it was up to her she’d have these bastards flood the US replacing blacks. That’s what Latinos and other immigrants really want to do. She’s only out to help other Hispanics that’s why she’s riding for criminals.

I don’t know why you think these people are gonna side with you against white supremacy???

FYI, you can seek Asylum at anytime, at any US controlled piece of land. He is wrong! How do you think some russian pilots and agents defected. They didn't sign no fucking form!

Asylum may be granted to people who are already in the United States and are unable or unwilling to return their home country because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.

To establish eligibility for asylum or refugee status, you must prove you are either the victim of past persecution or you have a well-founded fear of future persecution. ... The persecution must have been based on at least one of five grounds, either your: race. religion.

You may apply for asylum if you are at a port of entry or in the United States. You may apply for asylum regardless of your immigration status and within one year of your arrival to the United States.

    ANY PORT OF ENTRY!

    Get your shit correct!

    He didn’t own her.

She thought she would trip him up by proving he recommended family separation and watch him try to backtrack.

He just looked her in the face and basically said “yeah I did and proud of it.”

She was taken aback for a second. That’s all.

First of all, you're speaking without knowledge of this person's posting history.

Secondly, if you are actually Black and he was as well and he thought like you, he would be similarly misguided and confused.

I wish you guys knew how dumb this shit sounds. Lacking empathy/decency isn't some kind of badge of honor champ lol.

Besides... @Owes is an actual Nazi apologist who whined about white replacement at the hands of immigrants among other fashy talking points (under his many aliases). Why the rest of y'all keep engaging him I'll never understand. :smh:

He did make a point and he did answer her question. The problem is she (or other people) wanted him to say specifically the memo was about family separation. But he stated the memo is about recommendations on protecting the border and zero tolerance is included. And the problem with zero tolerance is that it can be exploited. But this is the problem with so many other American laws. It is the same reason why Marissa Alexander served time in jail for firing a warning shot yet George Zimmerman was set free. Both used the "Stand your Ground" argument. Simply put, zero tolerance laws and policies suck. Remember the war on drugs and what it did to the minority communities?

He answered and he said the memo about zero tolerance. But he seemed to allude that family separation just got included into it, but he did not say family separation was specific to the memo. And AOC wanted him to say that.

Also, the government would't just come into a neighborhood and seize children. But I do know that if a parent, or parents, break a law and there are no other relatives to take the child, they DO separate the child from the arrested parent(s). Trust me I know, I have distant relatives involved in DV that this happened to. It would be naive to think authorities won't take your children.

Yes, for the most part asylum can be claimed anywhere in the US. But that is limited to those who are in the US. For those who are trying to sneak into the US, it is classified as a crime. But that is what border patrol does, the engage with migrants at non Points of Entry and engage with migrants before they enter the US. For them, the asylum claim is not a given.
