the same can be said about DLH....May beat him at 154 Pac drained him for that win...regardless Hatton was undefeated & wasn't it him that called out Floyd...he was 140 champ in his prime....by the time Pac got to him he was done....
all that up & down with his weight caught up to him IMO...
fam who was the last prime fighter Pac beat?
154 wasn't the greatest weight for DLH either. Regardless, DLH was considered the favorite in the fight against Pac. Hatton was never considered the favorite against Mayweather. Looking back, people want to say DLH was drained but before the fight happened nobody was saying this. Even DLH was saying he felt so strong at the weight he might go to 140 after the fight. Regardless, DLH was shot at probably any weight at this point. I don't think it had to do with any weight drain. Shit, DLH was even way past his prime when Mayweather fought him. I don't talk shit about Pac's win over DLH because he surprised everyone with that performance and it's not fair to try and cheapen his win just because he kicked ass.
Regarding Hatton when he fought Pac. I agree that by the time Pac got to him he had seen better days but he was still the man at 140 and I can't argue with that. He was the man and the champ and Pac fought him at his best weight.
Regarding Pac, the last fighter he fought in his prime was probably Clottey unless you want to count Cotto. I would say the version of Cotto that he got was still better than Victor Ortiz.
