And the reason why water seeks it's own level is because of buoyancy, not gravity. Remember the underwater lakes? Remember that the atmosphere we're breathing is another layer on top of water and land? You have this idea that once we're above the atmosphere, further away from the earth's "gravitational" pull humans just start floating (like that fake-ass ISS bullshit). I am wondering why at such violent speeds that the Earth rotates (1000+mph ), then orbits the Sun @ 66,000+mph and keep up its pace chasing the Sun at over 500,000+mph. These speeds are constant and never-ending? With all of this going on, why doesn't Earth's atmosphere just sheer off and hurl us off the planet and everything on it?
