I liked that Floyd Sr and Jr are back together. I know that relationship was rocky, but good to see father and son hugging at the end of that video.

Again...props to Conor for taking a risk and helping Floyd make history on PPV numbers. He took a shit load of criticism, but the bigger the bigger the fucking reward.

Even thought Conor will never see a payday like this one again, he can command so much more in his UFC fights from sponsors and the promotion itself.

No losers here....

how could Connor have not 1 experienced boxing trainer prefight and in corner?
total disrespect of boxing as a discipline

Who fuckin' cares?!

It's a sport. People out here acting like this is some religion. It's two dudes hitting each other.

Floyd and Conor figured out how to get 6.5 or more people/companies to buy this fight.

It's purely business. Figure out how to get people to buy what you are selling. They did that shit on a grand scale.

There are lessons to be learned here.

yep - real lessons

some can only see success in terms of $$

Connor didn't respect the discipline and many boxers not as skilled as Mayweather would have caused Connor to pay a life changing price for it

Agreed, for over 100 million dollars he couldn't even be in shape for 12 rounds! o_O

And I don't want to hear that bullshit UFC 5 round bullshit, it's over 100 million dollars!

Man please...

Their grind brought them that money. Both men worked hard to get to this point. What's wrong with reaping the rewards.

Yo black ass would have been right in there w/ Floyd gettin' your ass whooped if it was offered to you.

So you would have been like " No, no, I don't want to disrespect the sport" C'mon man....

First of all, it was cool to see Floyd and his pops do padwork. I just wish they went more into detail with Roger's condition.

Second of all, at the end of the third he said, "It's time." So you knew he was gonna put the foot on the gas.

Third of all fuck Johnny Manziel.

Fourth of all Conor's people were idiots.

Do you really think they both didn't know this was a money grab for both of them and that is why they fought in the first place. If there is some disrespect then it is on both parts, it's on the sanctioning bodies, but all parties knew it was basically a money grab and the real fight was on the split.

49 boxers have tried, and 49 boxers have failed... McGregor said fuck it, let me try something different.
I get that but as we can see , in over a hundred years of boxing, and millions of boxers, there is nothing "different" out there.

If you agree to abide by the Queensbury rules, you're gonna be limited to all the possibilities that everyone who's ever put on a pair of gloves has at their disposal. The only things left are things that have been found to WORK. The disrespect part comes in at the part where he assumed he would have something none of those guys ever thought about.

But that's the good part. He said he's gonna have "something different" with all confidence. He got his name brand up within his own given field, to where the prize would be worth him getting in there. His ability to self promote and slick talk helped sweeten thag pot. Add the ethnicity and nationality , thag brings in a huge boxing market and bingo. The guy got to get on there and get paid for lessons that millions pay for. Of course his bill was paid to Floyd by the public , so thanks Conor, thanks Ireland, thanks united kingdom, thanks white illusions of superiority.

His "new stuff" was hammer fists to the back of the head , and taking Floyds back. Both illegal.

He was a victim and of his own ignorance but he got out of it with a check and less of a beating than he slaves through in his own sport. And we were entertained watching him either discover reality in the face.

And this fool needs to accept it lmao

protect yourself at all times....

Connor was never in a position to do that - despite multiple warnings before hand

What I am saying is that they all knew this was a hustle and money grab! It had nothing to do with boxing. It was a sideshow and that is what people paid for... They did a great job of hyping up baby and Floyd made it look legit.
