White people can call us terrorists, thugs or whatever they what and it won’t be a surprise. Three innocent peaceful black men were killed last week by the police officers. What did they expect? They want us to be silent again? They want us to put our hands up and let them shoot us?No way.Black people are tired of this fucking mess. We are constantly being degraded and humiliated by the authorities, who consistently escalate violence at Black protests instead of finding solutions or take responsibilities.

Black Lives Matter vs All Lives Matter “Social Experiment”
So basically I came across this stupid “social experiment” by a YouTuber with over 1 million subscribers called Joey Salads.
Previously he’s uploaded a video with another social experiment.

In that video, a white friend of his, dressed in something that looks like a thawb (a typical Arab garment), would drop a case while running near people yelling “Allahu Akbar!”, which scared people, the second part of the experiment showed Joey himself in jeans and a t-shirt dropping the same case near people saying “Praise Jesus!” and the most he got were weird looks. He doesn’t explain the reason behind the experiment, nor does he call for no more stereotypes or anything.

The other day he decided to step out of his lane again and uploaded a video called “Black Lives Matter vs All Lives Matter Supporters (Social Experiment)”.
And it goes like this:

First thing he goes to a white neighborhood asking people if they agree that Black Lives Matter. One dude goes on about how black lives do matter, but it should be all lives matter, because segregating doesn’t help us come together bla bla bla.
Another guy actually does say “Yes, Black lives ALWAYS matter.” But the rest are your usual racists who don’t give a damn about us.

Here’s where Joey completely missed the point of the movement and lost his right to talk about the issue.
First of all, as an Italian you don’t get to decide whether or not something’s racist. Hundreds of innocent Italians don’t get killed by the police in America, you don’t get discriminated at job interviews, at school etc. So shut it.

Then he goes to a Black neighborhood yelling “All lives matter!”

I can’t tell for sure whether those Black dudes are actors or not (something in their voice and how awkwardly they acted tells me they are, but it doesn’t really matter).

Anyway, Joey catches these hands.

He concludes with this:

Watch full video here.

So, let me just say this - it was NOT in any way, shape or form an experiment. Joey’s Twitter is infested with racist tweets such as:

  1. What he truly wanted to do is to promote the stereotype of Black people being angry and not being able to talk in a civilized manner.

He didn’t educate himself on the matter and used his platform to spread ignorance and racism among his subscribers.

And once again for the people in the back:

Black Lives Matter doesn’t mean others don’t. We are just focusing on Black lives, because our judicial system doesn’t know that.
We are getting killed by police. Our lives are being unfairly taken. We are being discriminated against. Former KKK members infiltrate our country’s government and legal institutions.

We are angry and you cannot tell us to stop being angry.

Here’s Why August 28 Is Such An Important Date In Black History

You might have not noticed the fact that August 28 is a really significant date in black history. So many different things happened this day in the past that affected our nowadays reality. The importance of this day is highlighted in a short video produced by award-winning director Ava DuVernay, who was commissioned by the America’s first National Museum for African American History and Culture to create an exclusive orientation film.

She also added that there are some events that happened not so long ago and don’t quite fit the date, but also have a significant meaning for our history like protests in Ferguson.

Or Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to stand up during the anthem.

“In my eyes, ‘August 28’ tells so much about black history through the lens of one date. The Smithsonian gave us an opportunity to tell this story and I’m honored to be part of NMAAHC’s inaugural installations.”- Ava DuVernay
This short peace of art will open your eyes. Don’t miss it. Black history is important. We shall never forget everything we have gone through.
