Overall I guess it was a good to decent E3. Got 3 guaranteed buys from E3 in Anthem, State Of Decay 2, & Crackdown. I don't own a PS4 and nothing really exclusive that I don't mind watching a play through on YouTube. The backwards compatibility of the OG Xbox is a great addition. Hopefully Burnt Out 3 is going to be available for backwards play.
well sony did pretty much what i expected. so far microsoft won just off the strength of showing more new games even though alot of them are multiplatform. for the games that got a release window i hope they dont get pushed back. especially cuphead. i swear if that game gets pushed back one more time im suing microsoft or something lol.
So far I liked Microsoft and Ubisoft's conference. Sony's was boring until God of War and Spider-Man.

I also loved what i saw here but like I said yesterday. I knew what PlayStation was going to show... my fear was exactly what they ended up doing. No fucking release dates... meaning they are likely going to wait until their own PlayStation event to give any dates at all. Horseshit....
Xbox did the same thing on sea of thieves but at least I know that Crackdown and Forza 7 are coming this year. I mean Days didn't even a have a slight mention of a release date. Same as Spider-Man. Saying it's coming in 2018 means nothing to me because as we have seen games get bumped all the time.
I'm semi excited for Marvel vs Capcom but after Street Fighter 5 fucked my emotions.... I'm going to wait for reviews on this.

This I agree with... there really isn't much of a point unless you are a hardware nut.
Sadly I am.... so I'm going to upgrade just to say I've got a more powerful console.
But I think that was the point. Buy the S. Unless you care about the specs like I do as well. If you were looking for a reason to buy an Xbox, you weren't going to get one by now. We talk about the media capabilities all the time. It does a lot but people just want to overlook it.

It appears that people really do care about what resolution their games run at, according to a new Nielsen survey that asked people for the five main reason why they had bought a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Wii U.
As you can see in the chart below the number one reason was ‘better resolution’ for the PlayStation 4, with ‘faster processing power’ at number four.
The PlayStation 4 has always been presented as the most powerful of the current gen consoles, although until this month’s The Order: 1886 there have been few games that have unequivocally demonstrated that fact.
Most multiformat games look almost identical, except for the resolution. Although it varies from game to game, it’s common for the PlayStation 4 to run at 1080p and the Xbox One at 720p or 900p.
Some games do run at the same resolution on both formats but many people can’t tell the difference just by looking at the screen, unless they have both versions sitting right next to each other – especially the difference between 900p and 1080p.
Nevertheless, the resolution offers a clear and unambiguous indication of the console’s power, especially compared to the vaguer measurements of ‘faster processing power’.

That's the thing about it... If they launched the Xbox One that's out today... there is no way that they would be in second place. The fucking thing does everything.... Not even talking about the potential for Kodi. You can freaking read your documents on it or listen to soundcloud... or play music in the background while playing your games. This is the shit that should have been DAY ONE... launch.

It's cause everyone is holding out for Gamescom and fucking Sony has their stupid ass Playstation event... which still doesn't make much sense to me, but what ever.
Man I really want to play this Zelda... but I just don't want to be that dude that has 3 systems.

Yeah that's crazy they do that. I wanted to see some more exclusive shit. Some Red Dead 2 news, some NBA 2K18 stuff just some shit to make me jump out my seat. During the Microsoft and Sony Conf I was on my phone most the time until something good shows up on my tv screen

Yeah my current TV is getting close to 5 years old, 4k will be my next TV. Thing is I was told 8k is on its way, are they gonna come out with a new console when that happens? You buy these things then the next thing you know a new upgrade comes out and you have to spend more money. I'll bitch and moan but I will end up getting the new stuff.
