He said the woman's boyfriend shaked the baby to death. DL said this happened when he was young and just getting started in the business. He said he had been supporting the baby but hadn't even gotten up the courage to tell his wife he had had a child outside the marriage yet. He said he still didn't tell her till later on when the guilt was to much and all his wife said was he should have told her so they could've went thru it together. He also says a few years later him and his wife was at the airport and he saw the woman, said she was giving him that "I got you now" look so whether than her try to blow him up he went over and introduced his wife to her and his wife told her she was sorry for what happened to her son.

DL seemed a little TOO cavalierly dismissive about losing a seed like that. He sounded pretty much happy and relieved not to have the burden of giving out any more support or dealing with the "problem" at the time in his marriage with his wife.

Alot of the people in the comments section pointed out that during the interview he referred to his son as “the boy”. He said he went to the hospital and saw “the boy” laying in the hospital bed. They were saying that was a sign that he wasn’t close to the kid, but hey if you get a woman pregnant that already has a boyfriend and they stay together i doubt they are gonna let you come visit the kid
