Yeah I don't think Dave STEALS jokes but I heard that gun store one and was thinking Bill Burr tbe whole time.Similar jokes with the same topics but the analogies vary enough to be independent or original.
I think the closest they come to one another is the Bisexual part of the jokes but that's easy for two different people to surmise what they think Bisexuality is in a nutshell, not counting "Pansexuality" these days.
The Gun Store jokes had enough dissimilarity and to believe that NEITHER of them came from a Gun culture to have those experiences is not much of a reach to me. Dave even spoke specifically of Bird shot and Buck shot, not Shotgun vs handgun. They both wanted Home Protection and both got standard recommendations.
