UPDATE: The former New York Yankees player is filing a lawsuit against the underwear company.
Derek Jeter has responded to allegations that he left Frigo because of 50 Cent.
According to Page Six, the former New York Yankees shortstop denies the claims and says that he was actually supportive of bringing the G-Unit rapper to the team.
"I facilitated the introductory meeting between 50 Cent and the company," Jeter says, "so it makes absolutely no sense that I would object to 50 Cent being a Frigo brand ambassador or think that 50 Cent is ‘too urban’ for the brand."
Jeter is filing a lawsuit against Frigo in the state of Delaware. Frigo is reportedly suing him in Sweden for leaving the company. The brand is claiming it lost $30 million because of his departure.

I personally love 50 but that's real shit. Jeter is at the beginning of a new career. What we think is irrelevant. 50 is hood as fuck. Why i love him but Jeter is a universal brand already. 50's frontin like he's broke to avoid a legitimate claim.

so, in 3-4 years both of these terms will be seen as positives all over the country. in major cities (NY, DC, Chicago, SF) it's already used in a positive manner to describe property and cool neighborhoods.
